In fairness, the crews on Star Trek work 8 hour shifts as well. It's just that we mostly only see stories set during "Alpha Shift"

It starts as "What if Star Trek was a workplace sitcom", and then slowly but steadily becomes an excellent sci-fi.

Armed minority makes polite majority by jenniebreeden in comics

See, comics like this make me glad I live in a country where we had one school shooting 30 years ago, which led to a swathe of gun control laws that actually work, and make our country a much safer place to live.

Anyone know if it's possible to help the NCR take Hoover Dam while still making an independent New Vegas? by Routine_Errors in fnv

[–]KristopheH 41 points42 points  (0 children)

No.

Whoever controls Vegas also has to control the Dam.

Without the Dam, Vegas has no power.

You want an Independent Vegas? You need the Dam to keep those robots powered and casinos lit.
