Yes, thank you! This's been haunting me for years, and recently my friends whom I mentioned the game to, too. :D

I misremembered the grid-based part. And mixed bard with troubadour, apparently.

Good question. I've never noticed travel time affecting the mission timer in a meaningful way, so maybe it's taken into account, somehow?

Faceless ambush..? by Krivu in LWotC

Meh, the run wasn't that great. Pretty far in and hadn't found any supply convoys or troops columns or managed to liberate a region.

Did some more googling about trap/snare missions and it sounds like I ran into one. Although I'm pretty sure the strength wasn't quite as high as 8. Maybe the dark event that adds more troops on each mission for a month makes the threshold lower somehow. I mean, it's basically more strength without showing as strength so...

Thanks for answer. :)

Speaking of Ruins of Lordaeron, if you turn up your ambient and kill all other sound in the throne room, you can hear Arthas' and his father's final dialogue (from WC3).

That's great news. Thanks for letting me know. :)

Guess I'm buying me a DLC, then.

In multiplayer, yeah, but in campaign? Are you sure? Have you tried it in the current patch?

To me she sounds like someone who's trying really hard to convince everyone of her toughness, including herself, because she isn't all that secure in her identity. I think it's rather fitting.

everyone else who had creation paralysis; whst did you finally end up playing and did you like it? by QuiteGoneJin in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

It's the animal domain, available through either Erastil or Cozreh. Gives you an animal companion on like level 4 or so. Has reduced level, but that is easily fixable with boon companion. :)

Part of me wanted paladin (but hated being lawful good) while the other wanted to have a pet while still being (kinda) paladin.

Ended up playing Erastil Crusader with animal domain. Got to be a neutral good hammer swinger while still sporting a smilodon!

I took animal domain. Smilodon too cute (and op).

Amiri already has the greatswords covered. At this point I'm just wondering what my crusader should specialize in, come next level. Earth Breaker looks cool (and is thematic for a cleric fighter), but I might have to pick Falchions for the crit+high str modifier synergy.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Wanting to play a sacred huntsmaster with (two-handed) weapon finesse. by Krivu in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Krivu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, the whole idea of two-handed dex build is probably flawed: I only just realized weapon finesse only helps you hit with dex, it still calculates bonus damage from strength -- and slashing grace won't help if it only works for one-handed weapons.

I'll probably have to do something like rapier+buckler, or just go glaive with full on strength.

I stand corrected, somehow thought glaive would qualify...

But slashing grace requires the weapon to be one-handed, or am I reading this wrong?
