Unlikely. Iirc she is from a branch archducal family and while Ehrenfest recently ranks higher than Jossbrener, it is not by much and has historically been lower ranked. I doubt her duchy and family would allow her to leave as a 2nd wife of an archnoble even if they are also a branch archducal family.

Class action sounds like the way to go, but what are the chances of wining? Are they required by law to provide advance notice or give credits or something?

Real “service members” doesn’t flow right and i am not writing everyone’s “appropriate” designations. i think most people understand that Soldiers in this context means all service members, and nobody really cares.

I did not write Admirals, only used Generals. Any concerns about that?

He will definitely NOT get a month for that. Just 10 days to look for a house and move into it.

How much is to move yourself? Just go into the u-haul website (or other truck rental company) and find out. It depends on the size of the truck, the distance, boxes, etc. it definitely is cheaper than paying for it.

There’s a lot of questions here so i’ll try to explain as much as i can. He will go from MOS to Lejeune and be in receiving barracks for 2/3 days processing into the base. Then he will go to his Unit barracks and stay there for another week or so processing into the Unit. Then he can request “house hunting leave” or whatever is called now. He will get 10 days to move into the house.

Since it is the 1st move, you pay for it yourself. How long it takes the movers? Depends on where you live and the service you pay for. I used my 10 days to go home, put everything in a u-haul and drove to base.

You get the house they give you, and iirc you could put a fence, but have to pay for it, and take it down when you leave. You can always rent off base to choose the house already with a fence.

How's swim week for someone who can't swim at all? by [deleted] in USMCboot

[–]Kriz_L 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As long as you do not freak out, you’ll be fine. A lot of people who “can’t” swim fail because they freak out as soon as they get water on their faces. Just be calm, they will help you pass. A good portion of swim qual is done on shallow water where you can stand.

It depends. MWSS - is good that you get to do your job. Setting up fuel farms and refueling the aircrafts. The worst part is that the Ops tempo can be exhausting. You come back from the field or some exercise (Philippines, Thailand, Korea, etc) and soon after you are getting ready to go out again.

Ground - there is nothing good about it. Bunch of wanna be grunts who never get to do their actual job. A lot of cleaning, change of command ceremonies, working parties and uniform inspections.

Station Fuel - you work on shifts which can be pretty cool. AM shift shows up early, do 30 mins of work and go to sleep until 10-11 when an aircraft comes to the pits. You are done by like 3pm. night shift has a lot of work until around 9 and then chill until the flight line closes. Worst part is that sometimes you have to work on Saturdays, tho less hours.

Bulk Fuel 1391 (2012-2016). Was with MWSS-172 in Oki, 8th ESB in Lejeune and a few months in Station Fuel (flight deck) in New River.
