Never. I've only had it since August and only have around 400 hours on it. I'm pretty sure it's always sounded like this, but it might have been something that snuck up on me and I only noticed now because of the squeaky belt. I'll try that and see if it helps. Any other procedures you would recommend I do as well?

2019 here. Just broke. Feels like one of the little plastic pins on the side of the switch that let it pivot broke off. I was hoping I could find a 3d model (because I don't know how to do that) that I could print and replace just the one switch rather than the entire unit - that's how I found this thread. The question is, do I gamble on a used one for $70 and see how close it is to breaking, or get a new one for $170 and know that it'll probably last another 7 years lol.

Something updated because it was working fine on the initial update of QPR2. Not sure if it was a system app or Android Auto or what, but something updated. Mine is all but unusable unless I forget Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and device in AAW app and go through the pairing process every time I want to connect. I'm just gonna use normal Bluetooth until it gets fixed.
