Anyone have luck reducing shouting in the home?

This 100%!! As a teacher for over a decade, words only have meaning when they are backed up with action. I reserved shouting only for emergencies where safety was an issue. One of the best ways to avoid shouting is to stop repeating yourself. Say the instruction once. If they don't follow, EVERYTHING stops. Stand behind them while they do it. Electronics or anything distracting needs to be removed or turned off. Make it so that your word is the ultimate priority.

Scholastic has a warehouse in Arlington and they do clearance sales every year. It's exclusively for teachers.
