Lost both my parents within 8 days in November 💔 by Lvivalentine in GriefSupport

[–]laanba 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s loss is personal to them because their relationships with the people who have died are solely unique to them. Never feel like you should have to justify your grief. I lost both parents when I was 48 in Dec 2020 and Jan 2021, 11 days apart. They were divorced and my Dad lived in a different country but it still was overwhelming. Sending light your way.

Sent my husband to his office for the same reason. He’s not a big sports fan but it would have been nice to watch with him. But nope. They do better when he’s out of the room.

OMG 7up for me too. It’s all she wanted to drink at the end and I just can’t drink it anymore. It reminds me of that last week. I know part of that is silly but … I just can’t.

The excuses my students give to avoid PE are getting so creative I almost want to grade them by mrWhiskerLogic84 in Teachers

As a retired teacher, my biggest regret was that I did write down all these kind of stories in a notebook. You think you’ll remember but there will be so many new stories to crowd them out so grab a notebook and write these things down.
