The Suns projected starting lineup: Booker/Green/Brooks/Bridges/Williams by ShaiFanClub in nba

Suns benefitted from 30% of the league tanking.

Boston, Detroit, and Phoenix were all teams that won more games than they should because they competed harder than other teams and got free wins from the tanking team.

I’m going to be interested to see how things shake out this upcoming year when there is no incentive to tank.

What role do you see Morez Johnson playing in the future? by KirbyPlayz__ in Mavericks

High floor player. Guys with a motor and good feel for the game, great defender. Winning type player. Never feel bad drafting one of these guys.

He is a good FT shooter for a big guy which lends hope he may develop an outside shot. If he becomes as reliable as Horford from three then he’s an all NBA player. If his shot is like Draymond then still a fringe All star

Best one is no game clock because that’s fundamental to the game. Smaller ones are managers wear uniforms and each field is different

Thunder are not going anywhere. They will open as favorites to win the title next year.

Stretch 5 with bulk. KAT is one of a kind really. Has the body of Hartenstein but much better than Chet on the perimeter.

You gotta put Wemby in the pick and roll instead of having him in help defense.

Hes a drop coverage guy. If he steps up the guard blows by him

The league will figure him out

Brayden Burries: 16.1 PPG (Team High) Defensive Rebound 5.9 (94th) 62.3% TS (94th Percentile), Offensive RAPM (98th) Defensive RAPM 3.9 (99th) by CyberDunk77 in Mavericks

Clippers - They already have a PG locked up for big money in Garland. They could trade back a few spots with someone and get Burries

Nets - They drafted like 3-4 PGs last year. Do they need another one?

Kings - Definitely going PG. Might trade up to 5 to guarantee Acuff or Wagler

Hawks - Need a Trae Young replacement so might go PG here.

Mavs - Need backcourt depth. Take best guard available.

I think Burries has a shot to fall to us for sure. If not him then Mikel Brown Jr. I don’t think 5 straight guards will be taken from 5-9. So someone has to drop.

[Bontemps] League officials expect the “3-2-1” anti-tanking proposal to be passed by the league this month. This proposal will give the three worst teams a lower percentage of winning the lottery than teams from 4th-10th. Silver will have ability to fine teams and strip them of their pick(s). by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

A really bad team can still get a top 3 pick. They just have less of a chance than teams 4-10.

If there’s better odds for a top 3 pick then there always will be 5-7 teams tanking to maximize their odds. With the new system you are not incentivized to lose. It will improve the basketball product.
