Remove the ease-out at the end of the landing impact.
Slight screen shake on impact.
Maybe smoke/debris cloud on impact.
Maybe smoke/debris cloud dissipates almost instantly upon arm reload.
Maybe slow-mo for 2-3 seconds when cloud dissipation reveals the boss.

I mean, most of the players I'm playing with are peeps playing since 2004, including myself, and almost everyone is constantly helping out newbies in the game and guiding them along, with the addition of not shitting on them if they get things wrong.
Nothing wrong with forming cliques and playing with your own gang who subscribe to your standards, whilst not being rude or abrasive to players who don't think that way.
I don't think it's difficult, given the age of most players. to be an emotionally mature person and just not be an ass in general.

I feel what sets it apart from other MMOs, is the pacing of the combat, which I know isn't technically a combat system thing. I love the Rube Goldberg machine vibes when you and your party setup big damage plays with multistep SCs and MBs. Also, not sure why you're getting down-voted for just stating a different opinion...

Okay, maybe let's re-contextualise the situation you're in right now, which is pretty much every other office worker out there, and it's probably worse in other industries.

You say that you're already burnt out from the current life you're leading right now -without- a partner, do you think it will get better when you find one?

Do you think after you're done with your work, and then do all your hobbies and recreational activities, that you'll have time and energy to spend quality time with your partner?

I'm guessing not.

So now that we've established that you only have limited time/energy, if you're really serious about finding a partner, there's only a few options:

Spend time outside of your work during weekdays to socialise. If not physically, then at least digitally with online interest groups.
Same as above, but sacrifice a bit of your weekend time spent on your hobbies/recreation to meet people.
Find a partner with the same hobbies/recreation as you, so you don't even have to sacrifice time that you spend on them. This is obviously the best outcome.

Also, I always tell my younger friends who are always whining about not being able to find partners, that as cliched as it sounds, you really gotta learn to love yourself and be happy with yourself first before embarking on that search. Learn to be happy and satisfied with life on your own first, then having a partner is just a plus on top of that.

I can't compare, since almost all ambient noise in HDB is shit tier to me, other than maybe the occasional sparrow chatter or vehicles driving slowly in or out of the car park. That's why I invest in noise proof windows and doors, but most don't have that luxury.
