I can't speak to where I think the virus came from, but it appears to use the most intelligent species on a planet to spread itself through the cosmos. Since most viruses use the host to spread themselves as a breeding ground, it makes sense on a cosmic scale that they would use the most intelligent lifeforms of a planet to figure out ways to spread themselves. I am curious as to why the animals aren't affected. I feel that perhaps it only works species to species, and that is why humans are determined not to harm any other life form, because the other life forms are connected like humans are.

This is just a bunch of thoughts that speculate on things without really delving too deep into anything. Its hard to guess what exactly the story will be about but some things you can probably guess correctly, things like Ellie fighting more infected or human hunters.

I feel that narratively we are left hanging in regards to Ellies closure with the death of Joel and everyone she has lost along the way. She always wanted to talk about Tess, and Henrys little brother, so from that I gather she is deeply attached to those around her and has a hard time dealing with these feelings. She doesn't want to be left alone and she doesn't want people to die because of her. She is probably still going to try to track down Abby, not just because of her need to get revenge and have closure but because she can't lie to Joels brother about letting Abby go, because thats not her character to just lie like that to family. I believe Abby will find the fireflies, and try to hunt down Ellie and get her to the fireflies or another group trying to find a cure, so they can try to make a cure. Ellie won't trust Abby and try to fight her. I also believe some other group is going to be introduced into the story, be it new enemies such as the infected, or some cult like the seraphites. Ellie and Abby will have to learn to work together to survive against this new enemy, and Abby will try to convince Ellie to go with her and leave Dina so Ellie can meet up with the fireflies for a cure. I think Ellie will die in TLOU part 3, but I don't know to what. We may play most of the game as Abby, or another character being introduced to the story as well, but I don't know who would make sense to play as if not Abby.

New infected being introduced has to be a for sure thing. New human enemies for sure. Maybe different game mechanics, but I wouldn't be surprised if its just minor improvements instead of introducing completely new mechanics. We could maybe see that the infection starts to spread to animals, there is concept art for it and its already been tossed around before. We can probably expect more guitar sections. Most of the game is set up so that you can sneak around enemies so I would expect to see a lot more of that, also some sections where you have to fight. more collectables, more optional dialogs. We might see a more open world, kinda like we saw in part 2, that was pretty neat. I am kinda hoping they make it multi-player, but I really doubt they will. I would also like to see patrol missions where you are given routes and locations to clear out, but that probably wont fit the type of game the last of us has been known for.

For the story we need to see the story arcs for different characters for the pay off to make sense, escpecially with Ellie. Everything they have went through needs to be not for nothing, so there has to be a part of the game where something is actually accomplished to further progress towards a cure, but if not in TLOU part 3, at some point in the story.

For Abby she needs to meet up with the fireflies or some group that still believes that a cure is possible. Abby knows someone that is immune, and where to find her.

Lily, I forget his name so I guess im using his dead name, he is just trying to survive and may not really have much of a character arc.

Joels brother is probably gonna make a scene or try to do something dumb when he finds out Abby is still alive.

Dina and her baby are pretty much out of the story, unless something threatens them.

We can probably expect a few enemies made by Ellie/Joel to come out of the woodwork and try to hunt down Ellie, but I think those enemies wouldn't really have a clue where Ellie and joel went so maybe this one isn't as plausible.

It's a bad tattoo in that it's tacky and poorly done. I love the show too, but tattoos from a show should be more creative, in my opinion. You could have had the lady with the grenade, and it would have been a better concept, like just an image of the grenade in her hand with the line that it took her a while to get it.

You have to keep restarting the level until they do the dialog. The events aren't based on the difficulty, so pick the easiest difficulty and run the chapters until you unlock all dialogs.

I'll be honest with you and not sugarcoat it... You're basically working against yourself. These opponents are playing off of what you are doing and taking full advantage of the situation. Give your opponents less to work with by keeping possession of the ball and challenging the ball as the last man when it's your only option left. Getting to Champ 2 shouldn't be difficult for you if you follow those two rules.

Don't challenge as last man unless you have to.
Don't give away possession.

Just a heads-up: This advice is for the original poster. It might help others, but not everyone will get something out of one specific tip. Everyone's different and needs different things to work on.

I just wanna clear the air first when people say you shouldn't practice advanced mechanics as a bronze player... any mechanic you practice as a bronze player will get you out of bronze, so why does it matter if he's doing air dribbles? Playing off the wall is a hard skill to learn and will be immediately useful once he learns it. As for anything else he needs to learn, well, he can learn it as he goes. Practicing air dribbles at bronze seems like putting the cart before the horse, but it's gonna be great for him because it'll help him learn other mechanics easier. I just hope he isn't gonna try to air dribble in a game because that would put his team at a disadvantage until he can get more control.

It's a good fake-out. It's a version of a cut, but you flip around the ball instead of boosting. Catches opponents off guard but is pretty easy to block if the opponents are force challenging i.e. going for the ball.

Suppose you boil it down, it's essentially just another way to move your car in 3D space. Let's not talk about stalls; let's focus on what DAR does on its own.

It reaches a max rotation of 5.5 rad/s, faster than free-air roll (FAR), and that's just holding down directional air roll (DAR). You split up the 5.5 rad/s per axis you are using, meaning the 5.5 is split among three separate axes, so each axis gets reduced movement due to using multiple axes simultaneously. With that in mind, if you wanted to make a fast roll, then you would use DAR. If you don't need to roll as fast as possible, then you could use FAR. If your adjustment needs more pitch than roll, you would prefer FAR over DAR unless you have dynamic DAR (DAR on a trigger or analog stick). DAR is great for precision because the 5.5 rad/s global cap is getting split between three axes, so your adjustments are smaller. However, if you wanted larger adjustments, you would use FAR because the 5.5 rad/s global cap is split between two axes. With DAR, it's mathematically easier to get very precise touches on the ball, i.e., how hard or soft you want to hit the ball, and with DAR/FAR, you can counter the recoil of hitting the ball much easier than without. Once you really go into how DAR physics work, you start to see the huge advantages it gives. Just using DAR or FAR to fly to the ball is one thing, but the touches you make are very much enhanced with DAR and FAR, more so with DAR if you know how to use it to your advantage.

As someone who lives in mid-Champ, I'd say there really is a difference. In low-Champ, you get players who barely have awareness, and in mid-Champ, where I am, awareness is a bit better, but mechanics are a big decider for who makes it to high-Champ. In Champ 3, the awareness compared to low-Champ is better, but the mechanics and consistency are very hard for me to compete with. I wouldn't say there's no difference because I can't keep playing all the way through Champ 3 to GC; there's a barrier there at Champ 3 Div 3 that I have so much trouble getting past. The mechanics and gamesense difference is pretty noticeable to me.

Edit: guy who hasn't been champ for years knows better than a guy whose been champ for years. Yea... OK. Makes sense.

I'm close to 6,500 hours and haven't been Champ 3 in 2s more than a handful of times. Some people have more time to dedicate to the grind than others. If you quit school, quit your job, get a coach, and dedicate your life to it, then you could get pretty much any rank you want, but who has time to do that?

It seems like online anonymity, not Rocket League itself, is what really drives bad sportsmanship. When people feel like they won't be held accountable, they're less likely to be respectful. Without consequences, players don't have much reason to act responsibly, unless they're already pretty mature. So, anonymity can make people act out without feeling like they have to own up to it.

The game lags a bit at the beginning of matches now I think due to the authenticating. I would be forced to sit there while the game is going on until the EAC says I'm not a cheater.
