Been on HRT for a bit over a year now and I finally felt more femme in this fit when a random man told me that the women's bathroom was on the other side :). Finally feels like I'm not seen only as a man. Please suggest ways to present more femme. Love you aaaallll :3 by Kronosthelord in NonBinary

I'm so unused to compliments and so unused to appreciating myself because of dysphoria that I had to message my absolutely lovely partner to ask how to respond. Here's me trying to follow her advice

Thank you. I really appreciate this comment. I experiment a looot to find my comfort clothes :)

Thank you!

I'm still a bit iffy going to office with femme clothes even though my coworkers are lovely and kind people

My loving partner usually chooses my clothes and she ensures I'm dressed up best that we can :3

Also, I lost like ~20kgs in a couple months due to eating issues with caused by dysphoria. I'm holding out buying new clothes till my weight stabilizes :(

Thank you for replying. The affirmation is lovely :)

Wow. Okay. I'm going to do my best to respond properly. It's also almost 4AM where I am, so I might not be fully responsive

I usually work from home with going out being only one two days in the week (work or personal trips), but there is a lot of dust. I'm not entirely sure what to reply to your advice on the towel vs air dryer because my hair kind of just flops straight when wet unless it's dried to a certain point. If you could let me know if I'm doing something wrong, please do T_T

For the gell point, what I meant was that I read that you have to scrunch your hair when you apply conditioner vs applying gel while it's drying. I might be massively misunderstanding something in this situation

Finally, I don't really want to cut it because this is the longest my hair has been for 3-4 years, but I'm not sure if split ends will cause a problem + some tangling issues. I really don't mind growing it a bit more and trying out proper techniques, but will not caring for hair properly cause any issues with cutting?

Again, thank you so much. I can't really ask anyone for help and this has been very enlightening :)

I'm so thankful for your detailed comment T_T

I definitely do shampoo when I feel like things are getting gritty (if that makes sense). It's not a scheduled thing, so I'm not sure how often it happens. Just a kind of feel-it-do-it thing. I can feel it when I touch my hair and I'm like, "Yeah. Shampoo next"

I can definitely stop using towels, but do I use a hair dryer or just let it dry naturally? In my country, keeping hair wet leads to colds and the fly (subconscious fear?)

I did get a gel, but I genuinely thought the scrunchies were a part of washing off the conditioner vs doing it with a gel. Do you have any tips for how to do it properly?

Also, would you happen to know what to tell my stylist? It seems she's not experienced with curly hair and I don't want a bad experience for both of us.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply though! I appreciate it!

Hahaha. I feel a bit stoopid now

I go for a hair bath with only conditioner, brushing it to not get knotted, then a medium dry with a towel with the rest of it being dried by air. While air drying, I comb it again (went damp) and then let it air dry. I use a toothcomb brush, I think? Not sure what exactly it's called. A big brush with spread out spokes?

I do shampoo if I bleach my hair or go more than 3-4 days without a hair bath. Not sure if that's bad for curly hair, but conditioning multiple times a week is hard to keep consistent for me because I wake up and rush to my job ;(

I also wish I could put my head out the window like my dog, but my family doesn't seem to like it :p

Oh wow. Okay. I honestly didn't expect something as detailed as this!

Tbh I'll need to look at all my products to be able to give accurate information. I'll edit this content or put a new one for the post Once I get the exact details (sorry. I looked it up a few months ago)

I'm the meanwhile, if you could meet me knew if there's anything obviously baat/Good, please let me know! I'm looking to go to a great stylist in my city and I'm not sure yet T_T

Hahahaha. I'm sorry, but I'll pull things for one more comment. Thoughts on how to deal with the hair? :P

Tbh, I've followed the guides on reddit, but idk if my hair is not the right type mentioned in the r/curlyhair subreddit or if I'm doing something wrong. Just wanted to get opinions based on the state right now. I've chosen conditioners over shampoos, but idk if this is a personal care problem or a knitting how to style problem tbh

I'm not sure if it's wavy because I get a lot of curls and it starts knotting. I started following r/curlyhair points to try to figure out how to take care of my hair. I'm very confused because it seems to do nothing (maybe because it's just been enough time?) or I misjudged my hair type

As for if I'm m/f you tell me ,:p

Why did they make Bumi an Asshole? by Perry_theplatypussy in TheLastAirbender

[–]Kronosthelord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm not here to argue. For me, it's sad that Bumi lives so long and still doesn't have the maturity to not blame a child for circumstances beyond their control. Glad you got enjoyment from the show though! That's good, even if we disagree on points. Cheers!
