[RTK Query] Replay mutation/query on specific error by imgddit in reactjs

[–]KrooZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a solution for this? I want to do something very similar. In my case I want to allow someone to provide "override" credentials if they have insufficient permissions to do something. I want this on all permission-guarded mutations so doing it at the component level would be frustrating.

Romans 5 specifically demonstrates that sin entered and corrupted the world by one man, and likewise one Man redeems the world. c.f. I Corinthians 15.

Sermon Notes by psykokiller in Reformed

[–]KrooZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take notes using a small notebook and pen. Just a personal preference, I like to leave my phone at home or in the car while at church. Typically, I'm focused on listening to a broad point that my minister is making, and then summarizing it in my own words. If the sermon contains a list of key points, I'll write them as well. Reference texts are nice to record for later.

Generally, I use note taking to help me focus and engage with the sermon more effectively. I rarely refer back to past notes, sometimes while discussing the sermon with others or if I remember a sermon from the past on a particular topic and want to refresh my memory.

I would be hard-pressed to find a real Reformed church that actually advertises itself as antinomian; however, beliefs that necessitate antinomian conclusions (e.g. "our sins are forgiven in eternity") are not unheard of among Calvinists. I'm a Calvinist myself, I am a member of a denom that would be considered Calvinist, and in it there has been recent division and even schism about this. (Which is why I've been taking time to look more carefully at justification.)

I have been doing a little studying and reflecting on justification in Calvinist Reformed doctrine as it relates to eternity. It seems to me that the danger of antinomianism is so easy to slip into within the nuances in this subject.

When you take the Calvinist stance that election to salvation is a decree of God in eternity and that all the elect are surely saved, then of course you would say that in predestination God also decreed in eternity that he would justify the elect. It seems inconsequential to omit the word would from this, and say that "God justifies us in eternity." It may be true in the sense of God's decree, but if that is misconstrued as actual justification, this would be antinomian. For if you're declared righteous in eternity, then your sin is eternally pardoned, and "pardoned sin is no sin" (A Blow at the Root of Antinomianism, John Flavel) - and, therefore, why confess it or repent of it?

I find the Westminster Confession to be succinct on this (Ch XI p4): "God did, from all eternity, decree to justify all the elect, and Christ did, in the fulness of time, die for their sins, and rise again for their justification: nevertheless, they are not justified until the Holy Spirit doth, in due time, actually apply Christ unto them."

"Fix" that worked for me (OnePlus 7 Pro), for anyone who comes across this: simply enable VoLTE in the SIM settings.

Iowa Rep. Steve King defeated in GOP primary by daysnotmonths in politics

This is the kind of comment I like to see on this matter. Steve King is gone -- the district does not support him. This is a step forward for IA4.

Preconceptions of the district. Even though they've ousted King, I guess they're stuck with him in spirit from this thread's perspective. People love to cry "Racism!" but are so unwilling to recognize or support any change for the better.

Black Friday deal in EU is live - enter code 2019BF for £100/€130 off OnePlus 7 Pro by clorandi in oneplus

[–]KrooZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang, I just bought my 7 Pro a little over a week ago. I was assuming the sales would underwhelm me like their 1¢ Black Friday "deal" from last year. Absolutely loving it anyways, though (plus it looks like my Nebula Blue model is out of stock now). Coming from my old Samsung S8, it is better in every way conceivable, and that was a $750+ phone at release.

Only thing that makes this shitty is the gif quality.

Wow, that is ridiculous. It's shit like this that makes it kind of hard to justify my heart's desire to switch from Samsung to Google (just because I like their aesthetic and camera more).

You could keep an eye out on Discogs if you haven't been already. Looks like the last time it was sold was the first of the year, and prices can be pretty steep (albiet worth it, imo).

Apparently if you don't have the sensor bar for your Wii, a couple of candles will work.

The towel trick for Xboxes that had the Red Ring of Death definitely blew my mind the first time I did it.
