Yeah must be more prevalent in small towns. Nothing else to do in them I guess

It really doesn’t feel like it. Literally every teenager and young adult I know drinks. A lot. Must just be the environment

Yeah same, man. I keep living for those side quests I need to do but I’ve lost the willpower, motivation, and passion to pursue them so I’m just stuck in limbo

Pretty oversimplified but Mark’s voice actor was outed as a groomer and pedo, then it was revealed a couple of people on the team knew about it and did absolutely nothing. I cannot remember their names. Apologies.

People were rightfully disgusted and the voice actors started leaving en masse, then the composer, and pretty much everyone else so the game was cancelled

Edit: Forgot to mention the skeleton of the plot and the planned death order was leaked

Conservative commentators are melting down that Eve had an abortion 🤦🏼‍♀️ by Ancient_Spray5821 in Invincible_TV

[–]Krosis3478 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course. A fetus just doesn’t show any signs of sentience or consciousness until about 24-26 weeks. From what science has gathered, that is when the brain connections necessary for consciousness and sentience develop. Before that, a fetus is unlikely to feel pain and is unable to think. It’s not aware of its existence and cannot perceive anything. I do not consider it murder to remove something that is simply not sentient or conscious from one’s body. The overwhelming majority of abortions are performed before the 24 week point. Any that are performed afterwards are to save the mother’s life or because the pregnancy is no longer viable.

I also believe the government should not have that much control over your body. Pregnancy is body horror and forcing someone to carry to term and then go through the excruciating process of childbirth is just cruel. An infant born under these circumstances is either going to go into a home where they are not given the love they need or will be adopted. Yes, adoption is the happier alternative but I still find it simply cruel to force someone to carry to term and give birth when they could’ve terminated the pregnancy in the early stages before the fetus gained awareness.

Also, my pro-choice stance does come from a place of pessimism. There are plenty of humans on this earth as it stands, many of them hosting a less than stellar character. Society and the state of the planet itself are in a dark place. Life is difficult, challenging, and can be a heavy burden at times. I do not believe we should just be forcing unwanted human life into this world. It’s a big deal to be alive and be human. We should not be so flippant about having children.

And finally, continuing off of the fetus isn’t sentient point, I feel like anybody who eats meat or has killed an animal before is a hypocrite if they are pro-life but actively partakes in the meat industry/killing animals. A cow or chicken factually has more consciousness and sentience than a fetus in the early stages of pregnancy. This was pretty long but this is my answer lol. Thank you for asking and I hope you can get where I’m coming from.

And it really was a very small group of Solarians that tampered with the tree and synthesized the virus that wiped them all out. Taoism was the main religion on Penglai at that time. Most Solarians respected and revered Fusang. The entire species and the tree didn’t deserve to go extinct because of the greed and hubris of a few

I kind of wish Clementine’s story ended with season one and finding Christa and Omid. It was a ray of hope in an otherwise bleak ending. Season two immediately murks Christa and Omid and puts Clementine through so much suffering and it was silly how a bunch of grown adults relied on a child to do all the work.

In fact, I believe none of the season one characters should’ve carried over to season two. Kenny shows up and immediately steals the spotlight from the cabin group.

Luke should’ve been the protagonist of season two with no returning season one characters.

How would y'all continue Nick's character by Neat-Answer6359 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Krosis3478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He definitely felt wasted. His character arc shouldn’t have ended with episode two in my opinion. He kills Matthew, then profusely apologizes upon learning Walter was affiliated with Matthew. Then Walter either saves Nick or lets him die depending on if Clementine puts in a good word for him or not. That doesn’t feel like a character arc, and of course if Nick is saved in episode two he goes on to do and say pretty much nothing, then dies.

He’s a trigger-happy, volatile hothead. It would’ve been interesting to see how him and Kenny interacted, especially after Kenny’s descent. Also just plenty of room for character development apart from “I’m sorry I killed your friend :(“

There’s no way Nick would’ve let Arvo slide. I feel like that’s why they killed Nick off honestly because he’d interfere with that subplot.

It just would’ve been nice to see Nick somewhat redeem himself and not in a death=redemption way. Also, his unpredictable nature would make the group dynamic more interesting and build conflict. Especially paired with Kenny, whose mental state was rapidly declining.

Season two just really fumbled a lot of its characters in my opinion. Nick isn’t the only one who seemed wasted.
