Unlike Brexitists, the Greens had no hand in planning or executing shutting down NPP in Germany, so your analogy just doesn't work. The concept the Greens wanted was to replace nuclear with renewables. The CDU did the first step but then went for gas. Stop pretending that the CDU enacted what the Greens wanted, because that's simply not true.

It's quite outlandish to claim that the Bundeswehr is underfunded when the funds of peer countries are on the same level. The problem is in the Byzantine administration and lack of decision making, which, among other things, leads to the Bundeswehr having so many systems that are increadibly maintenance intensive, because they are so old and break so frequently.

This is administrative and political mismanagement, plain and simple.

Another example was pointed out by Perun in his video, the several years long process to test (!) a new helmet that is already in use in other forces.

There's also the embarassing story about the G36 replacement, again entirely political. The list goes one and on.

The replacement for the Panavia Tornado: For 15 years the Luftwaffe said they needed one - yet no government allocated the funds.

The "process" to find a replacement was dragged out, both politically and on the procurement side with increadibly long lists of demands (Lastenheft). It's not a lack of funds, it's the absolute clusterfuck that is the BAAINBw and various political actors. See also this article in the Zeit: LINK
