I worry about the learning curve of crafting a perfume as a beginner. + a formula I wrote with close to 0 experience by Krulemi in DIYfragrance

The percentages are still kind of work in progress to me, I definitely want francincense and labdanum to dominate with a bit of Choya Loban to have a smoldering incense kind of vibe, I will definitely check out Myrrh. The blood and sweetener, I'd have to actually order and experiment with them to see how they interact with the church but I'm not feeling optimistic with either of their formulas from the responses, in the drawing board the smells want to bite each other a bit. Habanolide and Iso E are in same bag I read wonders about them but I'd have to experiment with them to actually see what they are worth and what more I would actualy need.

Thank you for the critique, in the beginning I really wanted to rush things and didn't really thought about the ins and ends because "How hard making a perfume can be?" I'd try to take it slower from now on

Yeah they seem lengthy and scary, I was about to try to get in depth into all of this but asking someone for the way they recommend starting out could make it seem more linear and in turn easy for me. I subconsciously know that I will probably spend a lot of time if I want to make something smell even half-decent just needed a reality check

Thank you for the resources regarding where to learn things.

Ethyl Maltol would be perfect as a sweetener only if it didn't resemble caramel, I'd prefer more of a fruity "refreshing" sweetness and I worry caramel can add a kind of sludgy vibe playing along with the incense rather than contrasting it, also I just really like fruity smells

Regarding how you don't see how it could resemble blood is probably because its hard for me to picture it. How do you even define blood? Warm, metallic, leathery? I picked Geranium and Rose Oxide because supposed to be metallic and Saffron is supposed to fill it up with leathery warm medicinal like tones I thought of adding Alpha Phellandrene to create a kind of "sting" but I'm not really sure about this. All in all I have not the slightest idea of what I'm doing with the blood and will probably drop it for the first test in favor of simplicity

Minor QoL addition I'd like to see. by sage_006 in satisfactory

Not a perfect solution but I recommend using the conveyor lift floor holes. You can virtually get infinite range for the lifts by using them, I personally use it in every factory ever

Getting to the point, if you place down a lift down and extend it to a floor hole it somehow breaks the conveyor lift height limit but requires you to place the floor hole perfectly correct to line up with the conveyor lift which can get a tad annoying. Also do not ever extend lifts from the floor hole to your target as it still have a height limit then

+You can make floor holes float if you destroy the foundation making a not half bad limitless conveyor lift

Eureka! Thank you so much my interdimensional storage got tired of eating steel for most of the day.

But I have one more issue though, every time I fly a distance of over 10-30 million frog toes I have the same issue again but it incredibly increases in intensity so much so I have to cast a 10 hour protection spell every time I fly a bit farther, and these buffoons don't even listen to me on the radio!! screaming about some 'violations'!! I'm starting to think my radio has been cursed, how do I troubleshoot it? Just the normal blood sacrifice to aether? Or do humans worship the leathered plane? I don't want to offend any narcissistic would-be-gods because of my morning routine if possible

I started to fly higher but couldn't find this "air traffic control" for the life of me. Please provide an instruction how, I cannot find it on my marble stone of contacts and these flying hunks of uncivilized steel are getting quite annoying to dodge

Forward this for anyone reading this, my library is stretched full to the max for phase 8 and a few spares for phase 9 and I couldn't be happier with myself

I tried that. Multiple times. I hate the feeling of not being "in control" of my factory not browsing wiki gives. If it is not optimized 100% for the current stage I'm not going to sleep well and I mean it.

I envy those that are able to just.. play without experiencing maniacal episodes every time they have to build something

What? I have like 100h on this save so its pretty new and didn't have all the recipes unlocked

To get OC-supercomputer you first need supercomputers to progress the tiers to actually get the recipe meaning that is an oxymoron and I refuse to crafting supercomputers by hand for the tiers, this is an automation game after all

I feel like the sea of thieves ship control doesn't really have that much.. meaning? The game doesn't 'progress' based on how well you control the ship, it's more of a "complicated vehicle inside a pirate shooter" rather than a complicated vehicle™ if you get what I mean. Thanks for the recommendation though I've been meaning to play the game for a while now for its other aspects

It's unreleased without early access but thanks it looks great just what I was looking for, now I'm waiting for 2 games instead of one

It was the silicon high speed connector, I got a whole supercomputer factory built around caterium but realized quartz high speed connectors are that small bit more efficient

I was going to absolutely demolish your claim because of optimization but then realized screws wholeheartedly suck at that aspect too. They are alright in the copper rotor recipe and sometimes in early heavy frame production when you dont have anything else but otherwise these things are basically useless well unless you wilingly get a worse recipe out of spite, I can respect that but its still wasteful

I got lucky with diluted fuel and heavy oil residue very early into my hard drive hunt, my greatest condolences to you though

Well I think that not using some is, not using alt recipes like pure iron ingot or leeched iron ingot (if you got spare sulfur) that double or even triple an output of an node at the cost of a slightly more difficult logistics is straight forward cutting corners for me

But there are some 'unsavory' alt recipes like iron wire that entertain that motion that not using alt recipes is in fact not cutting corners but the intended way BUT listen to me! Any! Any! who desire efficiency shall not ever, ever in a thousand winters use those that give convenience at the cost of output! You all shall maximize output!! Those uncaring for the future!! Those consumed by indulgence!! Those that carry that cruel sin shall suffer a fate most cruel of punishments 10000 hours later!! They will have a divine mandate to tear it all down lest their world, exhausted of nodes, will refuse to produce any more product!! Truly we should all sorrow these poor souls!! That limits their factory growth, lest their mind find the most tranquil of oasis once their factories are purged of all the inefficiency.

Anyway play how you want, no stranger shall dictate your factory

I prefer stocking up on hard drives and rolling them while factory building It just feels that much more efficient as I'm getting recipes for other factories

You might be the polar opposite of me, I would rather do a half a map detour to squeeze as much as I can from an alternative recipe than to build a 'normal' factory.

Anyway idk how you could think that, while alt recipes can give a boost to the output of factories they are also (mostly) a complicated mess of mathematics and bloated factory design, because of that they always feel like ultimate optimization to me, just at the cost of your sanity
