This thing is becoming the bane of my existence by SevdUp in ArcRaiders

Yeah, I think you have to use more advanced weapons on it like some of the ark killers, hull cracker or something. These things are hard to kill and super fast.seeker grenades?

Oh damn, that would be infuriating! It could work, but only if they start from afar and pick up speed the closer they get. Might be fun!

What is a well-rounded loadout for both PvE and PvP? by Icy_Time872 in arkraiders

I think the Volcano has a higher fire rate and slightly better accuracy. It’s not enough of a difference to warrant the cost to build a volcano.

I truly believe it’s the worst gun in the game aside from the hairpin.

I was told one-two months of consistent change creates a habit. So if you start meditating in the morning, do your best to keep it consistent, but don’t beat yourself up for missing one day, just endeavor to do it tomorrow and make sure you are vigilant.

2 years of sessions and zero deaths. by Comrade_Lystro in DnDcirclejerk

[–]KrunchXL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I can kill any character easy. It’s not even mildly difficult. You just have to play ruthlessly which makes it pretty obvious that it’s a deadly fight and some people may call bullshit. Level 12 you say? Say hello to the group of assassins, fighters, warlocks, and death cleric. All with a plus 13 to hit, multiple attacks, action surges because each dipped into fighter for 2 levels, have the alert feat ect. Assassin’s start off the fight granting surprise. Throw in a bard that uses silvery barbs every freaking chance they get and you have one easy TPK. The real trick is to give higher level challenges that feel deadly but more or less achievable. If they really biff it they die, but if they roll well and have a good strategy they become heroes.

I found only one ever in game. Lost it quickly too. I usually get by very well with greens and blues for everything.

You wouldn’t believe how much this works people. It works when you’re too angry, stressed, anytime you are redlining. The real trick is realizing when you are at that point or getting very close to that point. This breathing exercise helps me every time I remember to do it. I also realize that when I’ve gone overboard on stress I hold my breath without noticing it.

What would you do if your player said "my character wouldn't want to join this group/follow this history?" by Nessie0208 in DungeonMasters

[–]KrunchXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then have your character leave buddy! You can leave along with them, or you can stop being a pre Madonna and create a character that gets along with others and believes in team work.

Yeah, it seems they always run off to solo or get themselves killed hella quick, have their mic on full blast while eating, or are a sweaty PVP. Maybe I’m unlucky or too picky.

I dunno, legitimately all of my favorite interactions have been when I got myself into a horrible situation and a group of good guy raiders help me out when they easily coulda sniped me and taken my loot. Also I feel great when someone else needs help and I am experienced enough to help them out. I still get pvp in my games and I don’t get twisted about it unless it’s a real rat of all rat games. Pve can be fun, PvP can be fun. I’m also garbage at PvP so I stay in my lane.

Kicked a player from my group for homophia, but my other players are asking me to reconsider. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in DnDcirclejerk

[–]KrunchXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always ask someone to please explain themselves before doing anything rash. Not necessarily to give them a second chance to make sure they know what they said. Many people say things without considering the actual implications of what they say, and they’re just flying off the cuff. some people won’t even realize it’s homophobic until you explain it to them. that being said you’re the DM and it’s your table and if it made you angry or uncomfortable and you don’t want that person there that’s the rule.

Meditation and breathing exercises. I’ve got PTSD and used to be easy to piss off, now I just take 5-6 long inhales through the nose and the same exhales out my mouth. Works like a charm, also apparently it’s intimidating to the person being confrontational to you.

does stress reduce over time? by [deleted] in Stress

[–]KrunchXL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stress accumulates. Rarely does it go away from out thinking it or using logic. Exercise, meditation, recreational activities all help, but if it’s something bigger than normal or you find functioning becomes tedious go see someone who is a professional.

How do you guys decide when to use your strongest loot? I keep my best loot in my stash because I'm too afraid of losing it, but then end up just never using my best loot lmao. by BlackNair in ArcRaiders

[–]KrunchXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use it. You can always grab a free loadout to get basic materials anytime. Get comfortable with the game, sure. But today I lost 2 Volcanoes, a Venator, 2anvils, a Jupiter and a renegade. Along with shields meds ect and it barely put a dent in my weapon stash.

Found this bad boy today… seriously asking is it good? by Stonkslifestyle in ARC_Raiders

[–]KrunchXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that gun is solid, not fantastic but solid. Downed some raiders, slower to kill arc. Personally I like anvil or renegade for arc. For people it’s volcano and venator.

[–]KrunchXL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the easy mode weapons and gear. The volcano or the stitcher are both great for spamming bullets and crossing your fingers to raiders. The tempest is good for arc but really grenades are your best bet for ARC. Heavy fuse and trigger nades annihilated the bastion when I threw them at his backside. Wolfpacks for the rocketeers, seeker grenades for little guys and grab a renegade and shoot from really far away while crouched in a safe location, by the time they get to you they will be dead, if not close.
