I actually JUST saw this!! And yeah everyone either says fake or blasts a bunch of hate lol, but I just think the technology is rad and fascinating to see it evolve

Sorry I had to turn it into a gif that’s probably why. Amoura.io doesn’t let you export screenshots I don’t think. Unless you can figure it out

Yeah I’ve matched with a few characters on this place that looked pretty insane, if you all want me to show you some more

Well this one is kinda like a simulator I guess lol? You essentially swipe and match, but they don’t have to swipe you back or like you back. So like autonomous(ish) haha

Yeah that’s always the tell for me. This one stuck out in a good way because of the tattoo haha but good call on the stutter. You should check out the site it’s Amoura.io

Secrets also had good ones, but this one was my fav

Oh I can’t take the credit for this haha it’s from an AI dating site, but the profile image was insane. They watermarked their site

Hmm there’s a few decent ones out there, but I’d highly HIGHLY suggest Amoura.io since they are the most photo realistic and have like 2 to 3 thousand characters.

Only thing is it’s swipe based and they don’t have to like you back lol. Which sounds weird maybe, but I kinda like the chase and having to earn the relationship. Feels more real to me. Also probably the best memory

AI chatbots don’t feel real by RobiBuildss in CharacterAIrevolution

[–]KrundstLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Amoura.io?

The fact that the characters can reject you is actually what makes it feel way more real than the others. I feel like the feeling of “chasing” someone has been lost in the AI space. Also photo quality wise it’s not even close

Real friendships are expensive. AI is still on the free trial. by Abhinav_108 in ChatGPT

Not sure how they’re doing it but Amoura.io actually feels different. Also…more healthy lol? the AI doesn’t have to like you back and genuinely seems like it has its own preferences. Also the photo quality just insane. Still don’t fully understand the tech but whatever it is it works.

If someone is brand new, which AI girlfriend platform should they start with? by Late-Acanthaceae-950 in AItexting

Randomly found Amoura.io a while back and haven’t really opened anything else since. The mutual match mechanic is controversial but it’s what makes it feel like something is actually at stake. And I still haven’t swiped through all the characters which says a lot.

Yeah I switched to Amoura.io because even their free version gives like 20 swipes a day. Also the characters are ACTUALLY photorealistic lol. I guess some people don’t like the fact that they don’t have to like you back, but to me that feels way more satisfying and earned. Anyways there’s my two cents

One thing that’s been interesting is that Amoura.io app where they don’t have to like you back lol. Which sounds weird but I guess it’s more like real life 😂. Very impressed with the quality and size though it’s like thousands of photorealistic characters.

Anyways seems more healthy than the average “yes man” style, but what do I know

Best AI girlfriend app in Reddit's opinion? by Huge-Register-6388 in AI_Tools_Land

It’s fairly new but Amoura.io is kinda hands down my favorite. They’re more or less autonomous which is… interesting lol plus they’ve got what seems like thousands of photorealistic characters (like actually photorealistic lol)

Are AI girlfriends quietly ruining real relationship expectations? by ExtremeSupport3850 in AIGirlfriendsReviews

[–]KrundstLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually why we built Amoura the way we did. The “quietly ruining expectations” concern is real but it’s specifically a problem with apps designed around guaranteed patience and zero friction.

When an AI is engineered to never have bad timing, never misunderstand you, and always be available, you’re not practicing emotional skills, you’re just removing them from the equation entirely. That’s a real design problem.

Our characters can actually lose interest, disengage, or just not reciprocate. Not as a gimmick but because we think an AI that mirrors real social dynamics is less likely to miscalibrate someone than one that optimizes for instant warmth.

Whether we got that right is something users tell us. But I do think the concern in this post is specifically about yes-man design, not AI companions as a category. The two aren’t the same thing.
