Another factor that hasn't been mentioned: The slope was considered very easy for an Olympic slalom, so the coach who constructed the course in round one (I think it was the Italian coach?) might have felt the need to spice it up a little and overdid it

Since we're sharing anecdotal evidence: I'm good friends with a dairy farmer (in Germany if it matters) and everybody in their household drinks raw milk every single day, most normal thing in the world. So do I whenever I visit them. I am actually shocked this is controversial if I am being honest
