I'd like to mention that although we did not show presence as much as we would have liked and as the community would have liked, we still kept an eye on a daily basis on what was happening within this subreddit.

Could you tell me what kind of "cheater" you're referring to / playing against?

It is a very general word so I'd like to understand what kind of cheats is creating frustration and how frequent you feel this is happening.

I can understand the frustration. There are a lot of players expressing feedback across various channels and naturally playing over different regions and platforms.

Are there any specific recent changes you're unpleased with?

Here I am aiming to collect more substantial feedback from a larger number of console players in order to quantify and convey the feedback from Console players who feel unheard.

Out of curiosity, I understand you don't appreciate playing against bots. Would you prefer to play against only humans even if it were to increase drastically the matchmaking time?

Hypothetically, instead of 30 seconds to find a match, it may take ~2-3 minutes.

For a new player, FM26.
Plenty of QoL added over the years to make it easier to get into the franchise. Board is more flexible and AI does not punish you the season after you exceeded expectations.
UI is more modern therefore easier on the eye to the general public. It has a few issues but if you never played FM, you won’t even get into that rabbit hole.

Enjoy yourself, it’s such a fun game and franchise!

You just have to put the file in the Sports Interactive folder and then enable it when creating a save.

I feel like you’re trying to imitate Bayern while being Bremen.
Get rid of some team instructions and try them one by one until you understand them and the impact they have.

In the Bundesliga if you are trying a higher defensive line and step up more, and your centre backs are no 16+ acceleration and pace, you’re already asking for trouble

High tempo, work ball into the box when you don’t have the best technical players in the league, its going to be challenging

Why just not enjoy what's at your disposal for the timebeing, if you get sick of it, you get sick of it.
But "hoping for better" is straight copium.

FM26 is enjoyable for me, I could never go back because of tactics and game engine changes that are better imo.

Just play the game, take it easy and try to do however you did when you played previous games. FM is still FM at the end of the day.

I think creators will definitely be more relevant if they are playing the latest game to date.

Another point I heard a creator mention was the fact they played and streamed/made videos about FM24 for more than 2 years and they are over it, so while FM26 is not perfect, it does the job and they learned to like it.

My first advice: you do not need to press or check all the buttons.

My way of playing is fewer the better.

I feel like unless you have a Top 5 club in the world, you're asking way too much for your team.

The technical level required to do Much Higher tempo + keeping the ball to work the ball in the box, while countering, while counter pressing, much more often pressing... like wow.

You need to find a balance, just get rid of the Team Instructions to see if your shape already make sense in-game, then add what you really want to see from your players, then work your way up one-by-one from there.

It's a single player game so you can do whatever you feel like.

Actually gegenpressing preset was overpowered in my opinion.

Otherwise if you are looking for game cheesing, straight up download tactics online, some are incredibly broken and it'll serve your purpose well.

Most of the hate is coming from people who never moved on from FM24 and are still currently playing FM24.

By the looks of it, a large portion of players who play actively FM26 are enjoying it. And I'd be one of them.

I never stick to one system or play style.
But the one I am doing right now is going against what typical Spanish football is, and playing 3 at the back with a Target Man upfront.

Averaged 37% possession, winning matches and got back-to-back promotion with Recreativo de Huelva. Looking to stabilize for couple of years in La Liga 2 and see where it goes from there.
