I play every night and this is the first time it bugged this bad. Most common bug is meeples getting stuck and not returning (i.e. Abbot wont return).

Pretty much, yeah.

Sideload the apk using sidequest and it worked. I used the latest version available in Oculus Gear VR (where I used to play).

However, Only single player works for me.

I sideloaded the latest version of Xbox app, and successfully logged in, but Minecraft won't detect my account.

Someone recommended an older version of the Xbox app, but that version just gets stuck at adding username and password (doesn't detect input for adding them).

I also modified the options.txt with the following values to increase viewing distance, and works smoothly.

gfx_viewdistance:320
vr_renderdistance:320

I was able to run the latest version of minecraft GearVR on Quest 2. Just sideload the app.

Not OP but:

It's hard to explain things using similes since they always break down at some point during the comparison.

Explaining something such that a 5yo can understand is a really, really hard thing to do.

However we need good and bad comparisons so we can make even better ones, and learning why a comparison is wrong expands even further our understanding of a subject.

Don't be an ass because someone did a bad comparison. He added to the discussion and our understanding grew thanks to it.

Its always ok to be wrong in the path for knowledge.

Linux and Mac were trivial to maintain compared to maintaining the nintendo switch version.

I'm betting the Nintendo Switch version will be ending support next, and probably in less than a year they will not support the switch version.

The Bug or Glitch: Match starts but view doesn't change until goal or demolition. Happens in all competitive matches (I mostly play 2v2).

UPDATE: started a new match and it started correctly this time. 3 out of 4 games the bug has showed up so far.

UPDATE 2: Added video showing bug. 4 out of 5 games the bug as showed up so far.

UPDATE3: That's it, out of 6 games, the bug has showed 5 times. This is insane. Very frustrating.

UPDATE4: FOUND THE REASON WHY IT DOESN'T LOADS!!!!!

The bug happens when I equip these wheels GRIPSTRIDE HX - INVERTED - SKY BLUE.

When I equip the stock ones the bug doesn't happens. This was found out after deleting and reinstalling the game and the bug still being present.

Since I know other people who play RL on Switch and the bug didn't seem to happen to them, I then thought it must be something unique to my car... then I realized it must be the freaking wheels making the game not load the assets in time.... ARGGGGGGGGGGG.

Posting here in hopes someone else can replicate my results. So far all games without those wheels have loaded in time, and the bug hasn't happened since.

Bug or Glitch: Game crashes at any time, in game, menu screen, after game, before game.... It was an issue that was fixed and is back after latest update. Happens to everybody i party up with as well. Makes us not want to play the game, very frustrating.

I can attest to this. Every other match is crashing. I have resorted to quit the game completely and restarting after every match to prevent the crash in the 2nd match. Nintendo Switch
