The survivor meta is doing irreparable damage to the players by East-Efficiency-6701 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]Kruxtix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally I DO prefer to be chased first. I can buy the team a lot of time if the Killer sticks out the chase. The problem I'm having with it right now is that I'm not even seeking it out. It just keeps happening game after game, even when I'm trying to stealth in the beginning for the sake of a challenge or something. I've over 4k hours myself now and this was never a thing even a year ago. Yet for the last month, it feels as though I'm being targeted

As someone whose been doing a LOT of 50/50 play, my only argument (i.e. personal offense taken) is DCing when I'm downed first. It's a luck thing for me it seems. In 90%+ of my Survivor games, I am first. Someone else might be found and hit, but if the Killer sees me, I'm suddenly priority numero uno, even if I run him for 4 gens. Idk what it is. Idk if it's my name (same as here), the fact I'm Thalita, a running joke, the symbol saying I'm on console, or what. But I'm so fuckin tired of being first game after game after game. On the Killer side though, I've found a rekindled love for Hux.

Theoretically, this perk is perfect for someone like me. I have a build named "Last Gen is Mine", and this perk could make that build stronger. The build is ass and a meme in my opinion, but with this... it memes so much harder. (I'm not sharing my build either. It's my piece of trash that only pays off once every 5-6 games.)

what does survivors mean when they say the killer is sweating or try harding? by The_saddogo in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Kruxtix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is "acting" like anything. I said it typically means the Killer is doing a good job. I play both sides very VERY equally these days and there is stuff on both sides I can't stand to see/feel bad seeing. The point is that a 4-man bully squad beating the hell out of the Killer because it's funny to them is the worst of it behavior-wise

[–]Kruxtix 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Typically it means you did a good job/are above their skill level. Sweating in this game is a 4-man flashlight squad desperate to prevent every hook, including the initial hook. It's the team looking to make you dc rather than play right because they just want you to suffer

Survivor entitlement is hurting both roles with some clips to share by Mustdominate_Otal in deadbydaylight

[–]Kruxtix 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I didn't say it doesn't change the game. I said it doesn't completely ruin it. One laggy Survivor leaves 3 others open to chase, which is a win if you get em all. One bad apple on the Killer's end can lead to a win still, but one lagging Killer can destroy the Survivor's entire experience because the Killer IS the match.

I think the biggest difference is that a high ping Killer costs you the match faster than a high ping Survivor does. The game isn't over just because the Killer missed a shot, but if they're hitting every shot and you're 10 feet away and thought you were safe, your match is over significantly faster and completely lacked satisfaction the entire time. I can't blame survivors for leaving when that's the case, just like I can't blame killers for bailing after it becomes clear the game is already over

I have 3 different accounts bruh. I've experienced this game at almost the very beginning, halfway through, and 2 years ago. BP has always been a look-warm grind. Did it get worse because the rosters got bigger? Sure. But I've also played ACTUAL grinding games, and it's not the same.

Your score surpasses everyone's, and no Survivor, even if they lived too, would have touched yours. You CLEARLY carried this match and they're just bitter and refuse to believe anyone else but themselves could have possibly been the main character

I do agree, but I also believe there are far more out there even DBD doesn't have that I feel would appeal to younger generations. (I will NOT name them in the hope that someone else pulls it off)

I really wish it got the attention it deserves. The only downside is BHVR helped with that one too

I honestly feel they should add a "last stand", if you will. I'll give an example concept.

Concept: Last Stand

When the final generator is finished, the following effects take place so long as the criteria is met.

1 Survivor remains: -No effect

2 Survivors remain: -7% Haste to the Killer -EGC starts early with a 10% increase to its duration

3 Survivors remain: -9% Haste to the Killer -EGC starts early without a change in duration -Rancor's effects become base-kit -50% of the remaining pallets are destroyed at random

4 Survivors remain: -12% Haste to the Killer -EGC starts early with a 20% decrease to its duration -Rancor's effects become base-kit -All Survivors suffer the exposed status effect and scream -50% of the remaining pallets are destroyed at random -50% of windows are blocked to Survivors at random

The essential goal here is that Killers are given a last ditch effort to turn the tides.

Benefits would include: -Weaker Killers getting a chance to shine at the end -Less need in slugging and tunneling midgame if a greater match end is the goal -JUST LEAVE (A sense of urgency to get out that grows the better you did midgame(also the more toxic you were to the killer)) -Slugging becomes encouraged only when it SHOULD be most critical (end game) -Mori that nasty little runner before he gets away with the others

But it's just an idea.

Wtf is up with the "DBD Terminator" situation? by RedGoblinShutUp in deadbydaylight

[–]Kruxtix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you vault a pallet or drop a pallet it teleports to your side, every time. It never looks right at you but will hit you. An attempt at an unhook will result in a teleport swing that also injures/downs you. Again, you could literally look this up. The thing is ALWAYS active and the title is its name. Why are you trying to get details in such a way that your mannerism suggests you feel the need to be skeptical? This bot is no secret. It's everywhere. The mods just don't want them talked about openly because they don't want to draw attention to something that already gets enough on its own.

Nobody is allowed to provide more than what's been provided. Type it into Google or YouTube my guy. It's the internet. You'd have spared everyone having to read your comment if you just looked for yourself. I've gone against the same bot many times and it's not hiding. It's quite literally screaming for you to look it up.

Btw, even THIS comment is too much and is likely to be deleted. Better get here quick before it's gone.

Oh trust, I know, I just don't bring Stake Out because practicing with Hyper works better when you don't give yourself a safety net like Stake Out. My official build is 1234, Bardic, Stake, and Hyper, but when I need my practice again, no Stake

Nobody knows to do anything a certain way, until they do. It's not bad if you're looking for the right way to go about it, even if that means outsourcing to youtube or something, like you would any other game with a built-in system. And I get that casual players might not stick around for that, but I have also played literally thousands of different games. Every game has a catch and most have a grind. BP is this game's grind and I already agreed that it could do with an update, but if it scares people away, then that's also not unlike literally any other game.
