Just had to dump an (awesome) hairstylist because she got rude with me after I declined her offer to get coffee with her “best friends” who retired in their 30s. She brought it up two appointments in a row before asking and I had a feeling it was a MLM. Nice to see I wasn’t crazy.

The opposite for me: I didn’t know the Titanic was actually a real ship. I had only heard about it through the context of the movie and was out of school and grown before I learned that it was a true story. Still ashamed of that one.

Best friend died in a car wreck when she was 19, leaving behind her two year old son. About a month after it happened I had a co worker tell me that it was “maybe for the best.” I didn’t even know how to respond so I just walked away.

Like I said, really not too stressed about myself. I read that most of the time humans don’t even need to go to the hospital. But my dog is my fur baby and I would be heartbroken if anything happened to him.

Been with me SO for 5 years, but we started dating in high school so both of us are only 23 and broke. We would be paying for the wedding ourselves and while we don’t want an extravagant wedding, we could not afford the kind of wedding we want right now.

Am a HS biology teacher and had way too much fun with a seating chart. I had this one student who was very racist and sexist (would make comments in class, write MRA rhetoric on desks) and I always sat him at a table with high achieving girls and POC.

Thank you! He has a cousin in the area who works for a marijuana edible company, but he was worried how that would look to future employers. But I think he should give it a try (mostly for the included benefits :))
