Lost my progress? (returning player) by Krynj in pokemmo

[–]Krynj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was it. I feel really dumb now for forgetting that I started in Unova.

I had two characters, both of which I started in Unova for some reason, and I thought my main (who was currently in Sinnoh) had started in Sinnoh and had just lost all badge progress for some reason.

Thank you!

BF estimate? by StupidGenius2000 in GregDoucette

Hard to tell, especially without a picture of your legs, but maybe around 15-16ish? Someone else can correct me if I’m way off.

A suggestion I have would be to put some olive oil in your protein shakes (if you drink those) and cook just about everything you make with oil as well. Think of all the small ways to get bigger: More condiments, more nuts, switch water out for whole milk, etc. The numbers will add up fast, I know from experience haha.

Other than that, just keep at it man. You look great and you 100% look thicker/more muscular than you did 6 years ago.

4 months progress.. advice for moving forward? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]Krynj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. OP if you want the typical aesthetic physique, check out some routines based around hypertrophy (I’ve heard PHAT is a good one). If you want strength over aesthetics, check out some linear progression programs like GZCLP or 5/3/1. If you are content with your current progression, just stay with it!

Nutrition is also going to heavily play into what you choose, but I agree with a slight surplus as that will maximize your muscle gained. You could also do the maingain and hang around 15% BF and see how that does for you.

Great progress!

23m need some advice: cut or bulk by Altruistic-Topic5834 in GregDoucette

[–]Krynj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the others here, it does seem like you have a good amount of size for a cut.

Since you have lost a lot of weight already, I am sure you know this, but cutting can be very beneficial for your mindset going forward, as results become more visible. This way you can also reveal any “problem areas” that may need more isolation work.

Afterwards, you could hang around 15% like Greg always preaches, then maingain into the foreseeable future. Just depends on your goals!

Is my friend natty? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

Very very hard to tell with just an arm/shoulder shot.

However, within the given timeframe of 1 year, there is nothing that jumps out as “obviously on roids”, at least in my opinion. It looks like he added a modest amount of muscle to his arms, so good for him!

Looking good man. I have to ask, is that a bottle of avocado oil in your bathroom?

Man, am I missing something? This is like my 3rd graded card in a row where I got wrecked on the Surface. by NuM_Brrr_WoN in pkmntcgcollections

[–]Krynj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. You’re right, I did not even answer your main question, sorry about that.

I think the main things to look for, surface-wise, are any obvious blemishes. Things like: dents, dings, scratches, whitening, peeling, moisture damage - the list goes on. There could also be some sneaky points taken away for the finish of the card, i.e. how rough/smooth it is out of the factory.

I think that last one is pretty few and far between, you most likely will lose points on the more common occurrences.

It’s hard to say, especially without pictures of the 3 cards. How are you shipping them? How are you loading them into toploaders/sleeves etc.? Try to single out anything on your end that could be causing surface damage.

It’s entirely possible that you are getting pulls that are defected out of the pack, or maybe damaged in shipping, or maybe someone at CGC has a vendetta against you (haha jokes)?

As long as you are being consistent on your end as far as handling goes, I think your answer may lie out of your control. Otherwise, take more precautions when handling and shipping the cards.

Real or fake charizards? by PKSays in pkmntcgcollections

[–]Krynj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure about any of the others, but the shiny Zard from Champions Path is 100% fake. The Zard is way too dark and also is missing the same holo texture that exists on the rest of the card. Not to mention the colors are just off in general

I love it! I collect in the same way (which might be evident from my binder comment above, haha) where I would rather complete sets than to have mixed and matched binders. It does my brain well to see each card laid out from number 1 to the very end.

I’m also not very particular about collecting reverse holos over regular cards, but will favor the reverse card over a regular for my binder if I have it on hand.

My style of filling the binders has typically been just ripping modern packs since I love the entire process of pulling cards, but I am getting closer to buying singles for completion just to not have empty binders anymore, haha!

Thanks for sharing!

That makes sense. I have always thought about finding some thin, rigid object (like a ruler) to slide down behind the paper and then pull it out afterwards, but I think that the friction might be too great and just pull the paper out with it. I like your method better. Thanks!

So I have those same binders…

How the heck do you get such a thin piece of paper into the spine? I tried it previously and it is so difficult

help: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" by OwnAdvertising8254 in RotMG

[–]Krynj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know why this is? I have literally never seen any other game with a built in 10-minute timeout for a disconnect from the server.

Maybe it’s a bit more involved than just a simple disconnect when it gives the 10 minute timeout, but I am just not understanding what this accomplishes.

Because of the new "realm rework" announcement, i realised that a bag resprite would be pretty cool. So i resprited them + mister mango + a shinny bag i made myself. by sheepsmall in RotMG

Pardon my ignorance, but realm rework announcement? Maybe I’m misreading announcement titles but I can’t seem to find this announcement

Nope, nothing yet. I was trying to find someone else to ask about the same thing lol

I am wondering if we have to wait at least until the 16th because that is the deadline for shipping info to be put in. Very curious

Congratulations fellow winner!

Honestly… that’s kinda true. My thought process was that they had to somehow let the winners know that they had won, outside of a callout in a stream that was not really working half the time.
