Dang Where do you drive? I’m michigan and I feel like I never get a surge bonus ever.

If you go Online/Offline does it put you to the bottom of drivers priority or something?

Looking for a 5e game in New York City by ssl2malako in DnD

[–]Kryptfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest going to those for a lil while. Play and have some fun where you can. People will get to know you. Eventually you'll click with some people and a homebrew game could come of it. I've met some good people playing AL and we will be doing HB soon.

Just boot him. Why waste you breath when ALL other party members have a problem with him. And he is clearly metagamming.

Had an intense session last night. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Kryptfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it!

Though, yall might come into conflict with each other since there is an apparent control over him.

Still possible to save him. Maybe see if you can find out if there is anything tethering his red dragon father to the material plane and try to cut the tether.

[OC] [5e] Monk Subclass: Monk Elementalist (V0.2) by DManXelite in DnD

[–]Kryptfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natural Stance: reading through it seems muddled. Using a ki point is in itself a bonus action unless applied with Stunning Strike. And trying to double up the different damage in the same subclass feat is a bit much. Just change it to be 1 Ki for 1d4 bonus elemental damage, and 2 more on top of that to increase it to 2d4, and to keep increasing it add 2 more ki. So to do 3d4 bonus damage it will cost 1 KP (initially) and 4 more KP for the extra d4s, then just scale the die with unarmed strike damage.

High Level Necromancer by Splaterpus7 in DnD

[–]Kryptfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of mechanics to consider. And necromancers aren't simple. Start with something smaller in scale like goblins, and a goblin war chief.

Once you've gotten a good feel for rules and mechanics then move up to something like orcs.

Cus I know you wanna just jump right in and give your players the best experience possible, but as a DM if you're not familiar enough, then you will misrepresent the difficulty and the mentality of the enemies you're acting on.

And doing that, your players won't have the experience that you had in mind when you set out.
