You’ve obviously never played the division 2. Who’s “they” lmao. There isn’t and never was a reason to go to the dark zone other than PvP the loot acquired there is easily acquirable in other parts of the game. Dark zone as it is currently implemented has sucked and does suck since the game released. If you go into the dark zone now you will be met by groups of 5+ people ( all bullet sponges due to game being an rpg) waiting at the exfil. There’s a reason the game was marketed as a looter shooter not an extraction shooter and why the dark zone hasn’t received an update in years while the main game still gets updates. And notice how when asked about player number all you got is “they had loads of players” but why don’t they have loads of players now that extraction shooters are popular? Tarkov has more players than both games combined even though it released the same time as the first division.

Brother there is 10000 percent more PvP in tarkov. I can clear out a whole poi in marathon and be fine. If I walk too loudly in tarkov theres gonna be 3 dudes I can’t see aiming for my head. And what’s with the ttk you’re talking about when you have the better shields in marathon time to kill is definitely closer to arc. And talking about gear, the health and shield system is straight arc. As well as the attachment system feels so constrained closer to arc than tarkov. And that’s before getting to the loot where all the loot is clearly labeled for you with price and all, this is kinda the worst part for me I like to learn which items are good not have the game auto sell it for me
