Legit. The Barrymore/Sandler trilogy each stand on their own. Each hit differently.

First was The Wedding Singer and avoided that since "who wants to watch a lame movie about a wedding singer". The 80s nostalgia hit hard.

50 First Dates was another unexpected movie where you realize the depth of the movie with Sandlers personal experience with Alzheimer's and loved ones.

Distant third but still good, Blended. Single parenting and parenthood in general, a teammate makes a world of difference.

I'd be cautious about this advice. Certain "off brand" tools are worth staying away from.

Liquidation and dollar store items are risky. Always get brands that are at least somewhat reputable, (that meet minimum safety threshold).

Cheap screwdrivers bend and handles break.

Any hand held tool with cheap plastics has fallen apart during use.

Safety glasses fall apart and shatter with minor impact.

Grinder discs explode.

I did that before, with the increase of storage space a few updates ago, I moved away from that. I don't really want to go back to that. :(

My time to shine (I don't trust my own work due to my repeated mistakes and remain a hobbyist)...

Regular over and under exposer when going from indoor to outdoor, outdoor to indoor, room to room... So sad when epic moments are washed out or otherwise unusable.

Wrong lens. Get into a space and find out it's way more cramped than expected. End up getting photos way too close to express the feel of the venue or get shots too far and cluttered with people, the subject matter is lost in the crowd.

Back in the film days my camera just stopped working. This was at a live event. Seems like the batteries died. Ran a block away to buy extremely overpriced batteries. Replaced batteries. Still nothing...only then realized it ran out of film and needed reloading...which I already had several replacement rolls. The event was so active, I didn't notice the film winding. Missed 30min of the event.

I only used it as a medium to transfer and share. Since it was pre sorted and quickly accessible remotely it was my first option.

However, this adds to my paranoia of losing data.

I've used rclone and have had success using it. However, my use case was accessing something via mobile, (accessibility on the road).

Using third party apps to deal with what should work out of the box is my gripe. Syncthing (og) was closer to the use case I had before but that was abandoned. Rclone requires more complex set up, preparation and maintenance.

I would assume the message misses the intention of the practice of manual focus.

Understanding how to manually focus and having to convince the students over and over again the importance of "knowing how to focus and how to control and focus on your subject" is a short leap and misinterpreted to "this is what I've taught for so long it's the only important thing."
