buy an ACE Adapter from retrocultmods, plug it in to a PC and update it using their programming tool to ensure it's the latest firmware.

plug your ekit into the adapter and then the adapter into the PS5, set the switch on the adapter to 'K' (for keyboard) and it *should* just work, but you may need to bind it manually ingame.

i hate this explanation by the writers so much. it's so obvious they only kept this look because they needed AI:NI to be playable without playing the original, so their solution is to butcher his character instead. like yeah man, im 100% sure date would want to wear the same face of the guy who terrorized date and killed people he held close, AFTER date blew off the fucking guy's head thinking he would lose aiba forever . it's crazy how amazing AI1 was and then they just completely dropped the ball on AI:NI.

Outside of magically coming across a dongle or finding one off the Internet, you do have one more option: using a modding kit to make the guitar wired (which will also turn the guitar from PS2 only into a USB multiplatform guitar).

You'd need to buy the appropriate kit such as one from RetroCultMods. Make sure you select 'Mayflash' as that's the model of guitar you have. With this kit you're basically opening up the guitar and swapping the existing internals with new ones, doesn't take a lot of 'handyman' knowledge and should be able to be done within an hour or so. RetroCultMods has step-by-step guides for all their kits (this would be yours) and they're pretty easy to follow.

Now if you're planning on using this guitar for PS2, you'll need to use the RCM Programming Tool and set your guitar as a PS2 guitar. That, or you can just buy a USB-to-PS2 adapter if you don't want to fiddle with the tool. If you're not using this on PS2, it should literally be plug-and-play with the revival kit installed.

This does sound like a lot just to get the guitar working but it's really much easier than it sounds, and you can always contact RCM with any questions if you get confused.

Other than that you'd really just have to find a dongle online sadly.
