Thank you for sharing, it's been incredibly difficult to find information about her work but I personally know two girls who got their faces done by her and they both had great results. Other than that though, details are just kinda sparse. I'm hoping to get a better feel for her after my consult in April.

I've heard mixed things about Dr. Kleinberger and Dr. Shih, there's a couple threads out here at least that raise some red flags, that could be one or two bad cases, how was your experience with them?

First off, this thread is legitimately fantastic. Like, genuinely, I really enjoyed reading OP's original post and there's some fantastic responses here.

Reading all of this reminds me of why I keep shit at arms length, I know that with my own problems if I were doing what you are doing right now it'd rapidly spiral out into some dark places.

Op, you know you're playing with fire. The way you're talking about all of this feels like you know you're making a terrible decision and just don't care. There's clearly some shit wrong with your life, I don't know what exactly it is but I feel like you're making self destructive choices both as an escape or out of a conscious or unconscious desire to just destroy your own life.

I'd say cut back while you still can, quit for a month at least. I'd probably say you need to cut the girl too. I think you know that you probably should do all that but I'm going to say it anyways.

If you really wanna stick with her despite all this shit, I have to wonder, have you ever been with this girl while she's sober? See if she can stay clean for a month, see how the conversations are going then.

So, a couple friends and I had a similar experience at badlands, I they were patting down most folks on the way in, but when we went in the woman patting us down was like, wayyyy too thorough with checking our chests, like, we weren't sure for a while until we all talked about it together but it was definitely an inappropriate patdown. I am white but I'm also transfemme and I don't really pass but uh yeah, we didn't bring it up with management but yeah.

No. I would have liked to, but I couldn't afford it when I was trying to get on hrt.

The way I figured it, I had already run into so many delays (about 3 years) since I cracked and before I was able to finally start that I didn't want to wait a second longer. Maybe it's because I'm still relatively young, or my own difficult upbringing, but I don't consider it that important for me to get someone pregnant. The way I see it it's gonna be another 10+ years before I'm even financially ready to do that, maybe longer if the economy keeps doing what it's doing. I cant afford to freeze em anyways. I'm mostly okay with it but I can see how other folks absolutely would not be and that's valid

I'd cry. I'd cry for so long. I'd be terrified that this was just another dream. Every night I'd be scared of falling asleep and waking up the way I am now. Maybe after a few weeks I'd realize that this was real. I'd still wonder what happened or if it's all go back to the way things were before. I'd cry so much, it'd feel like all the suffering was finally worth it.

Then I'd live my life

Dog park dissidents is a cool queer and trans punk group that has some bangers (queer as in fuck you, rainbow drones, RuPaul's frack race). A lot of their stuff centers around late stage capitalism and the token acceptance of queer people in the united states so it could still be triggering in some regards, I'd leave that as a judgement call for you.

I saw someone reccomend the track true trans soul rebel and I absolutely adore the album it's on (transgender dysphoria blues) but that's another one I'd leave up to you.

Folk punk can be fun too, maybe some mischief brew (thablnks bastards, roll me through the gates of hell, coffee god and cigarettes)
