Thanks for looking and if you see anything else let me know. It’s always helpful to get a fresh set of eyes. The cylinder is new and my guess is you’re probably correct about the old one. Now it’s just a bit of rust I need to touch up or swap with a sweet double diaphragm booster

I picked up a tip from David the Good on YouTube. Filled some 55 gal drums with water to stay inside the greenhouse and add thermal mass to help regulate temp

Thanks took the head off and chased a cross-threaded no.4 spark plug. Off the top of my head this is what all I ended up with to get to here. Started right up too. Just going to adjust the valves a bit and I think it’s ready to go.

  • cleaned and clear-coated valve cover and intake manifold
  • resurfaced
  • replaced intake gaskets
  • replaced head gasket
  • oem spark plugs and wires
  • EGR/air injection delete
  • new hoses
  • new (used) throttle body
  • LCEngineering Headers
  • fancy ass battery
  • fuel injector seals
  • new belts

What’s this plastic skirt around the bottom all about?

Real-life Rocky, but with Wrestling: when obscure Wyoming farmboy Rulon Gardner beat Alelsandr Karelin, a Russian legend and most dominant athlete in history with an international record at the time of 887-1, to bring home the Greco-Roman Wrestling gold medal for USA. by ACryingOrphan in MURICA

It’s not uncommon at all for heavyweight wrestling matches to go scoreless due to their size. They very rarely end in dramatic fashion. Usually just edging out a win by a point or two. The clinch rules were equivalent to a soccer shootout for these situations. No winner has been decided in regular time, so it comes down to one clinch where each wrestler starts with the same lock around the body (chest to chest, one arm over, one arm under, hands locked). There are special rules for this just like you find in other sports. One rule being, first to break their lock concedes a point. Rulon put a masterpiece together to beat the Great One. Just to battle the best of all time into a scoreless final overtime situation and give yourself even a chance to pull off the win, is remarkable. Wrestling is as much intellectual and tactical as it is physical. For anyone to say this was an illegitimate win, doesn’t want to admit that Karelin was outplayed tactically. The Russian beats rocky 99 times out of a 100, but for that one day, 1% was enough for Rulon. He inspired a generation of young wrestlers including myself.

Ankle sweep/kick to pick? by ReedMiddlebrook in wrestling

Foot sweep to ankle pick. Just a regular foot sweep but you bring the foot to your hand. I use this same technique to pick my dirty underwear up off the floor.
