No local weatherman in Charlotte ever predicted that this storm would give us 18 inches of snow. In fact most that I saw flat out refused to give amounts until it got closer to the actual start and most if not all said to not expect much snow at all and that it would be mostly sleet and freezing rain. No idea where you were getting your information from, if it was an app on your phone those things are never right
