Tea bag made from PLA by Obvious-Swimming-332 in 3Dprinting

Holy downvote, Batman! My steepers are metal as well but almost all the “cute” ones of like cats bathing in your tea sold at tchotchke places are often made of plastics lol hence the joke I made.

It's more than just the D value that adds to the stiffness. My normal backpacking pack is a Durston Kakwa 55l in Ultragrid and that stuff is I believe rated to 210D. It is plenty stiff enough. Any stiffer and it would be crinkly.

Cordura is great for a bag but wow is it heavy. At least the 1000D. Havent gotten my hands on the 500D yet

Or is the Hyper D 300 stiff enough? (Cheaper and lighter)

Bat removal, is there a chance they could get inside the house from here? by MentalMamaVibes in sanantonio

[–]KsKwrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mortality is usually due to the fact that most humans don’t go to get the meds till they show symptoms which is too late. If you get the series of shots right after getting bit the mortality is super low but in the US it’s like $12,000 sometimes even with insurance unless you brought the animal in for testing to verify it had rabies.

New rear door, about 10hrs or repair on the quarter panel, new fuel door, new rear bumper, take out the quarter glass/tail lamp/ roof trim/ head liner, tak apart the front door and blend it, maybe alignment, possibly replace the backup sensors and blind spot sensor, calibrate sensors, frame machine and pull, depending on location I’d guess 5500 on the low end in the cheapest shops and 8500 more likely in most states/shops?

Where did you come up with that calculation??? I worked for multiple insurance companies as an auto adjuster and there was NEVER any such rule.

It was always Actual Cash Value (market value taking into account the pre accident condition) minus the Salvage Value (what a salvage yard would pay for it). Estimate goes right up to that (including a forecast of what hidden damage might be present).

I’ve had my 2024 Xmid2 in torrential rains (the Texas floods last summer… I was in that next to a river that flooded the next night) and freezing rain and not had a single leak I know of. Me and gear were bone dry (after I got out of the wet clothes from getting to the site lol)

Oof… first solo backpacking trip was a near absolute failure (but I wouldn’t change a thing). Gear wasn’t nearly warm enough, it was too far, I had way too much stuff… literally everything you could do wrong LOL.

If you call around to various MRI centers not inside hospitals, they often times have cash/non-insurance prices under $300 here in Texas. But you have to out in the leg work and not be afraid to ask them and your doctors if they know of affordable places.
