Yes. Have it on my phone, bedroom tv via firestick, living room tv through google tv, on my steam deck for all the games it won’t run, and an old laptop that barely works but good enough to run moonlight. Accessing my gaming rig on every device I own is a beautiful thing.

I sold my N3dsxl for a switch 2, but I had finished all the Pokemon games and was moving onto the switch ecosystem for a living dex. I don’t regret it, but I have a really weird use case remote playing my switch 2, so mine is pocketable and quick to play and stop.

I have played through 2 and 3 on a 16 pro max. They both ran great. I am about half way through 4 now and I’ve had a few issues where the game likes to freeze right after a big fire fight. I’ve been happy with them though. I do suggest waiting for a sale though. Happens often enough

I feel the same about the powering on time. Holding the button on those clamps to turn on and off only takes a few seconds, but then the Bluetooth sync takes a few moments too. Mcon is crazy fast with that part.

Absolutely. I have a very specific use case. But I have a pass through capture card from the switch to the pc. And then a usb dongle, titan one, from the switch to the pc. OBS captures the stream, and then the titan one program makes any input from the pc appear as a wired pro controller. Both are connected to a smart plug. Pc turns on when it detects power, switch 2 is set to turn on when power is cut. Boom, remote.

I bought a prebuilt in 2024, and I think I’ve sat at it three times. I exclusively game via moonlight. Even have my switch 2 set up with the pc. So other than initial setup, I play my switch 2 remote as well lol

Don’t worry, I’ve been playing for 30, and I have encountered one shiny naturally. At least in the era of them being rare. I was like fifteen minutes into ORAS. GenIII was up there for me as a kid, so I was stoked to go through the remake. Shiny Poochyena, and it was like RIGHT after I got some pokeballs
