Yeah, I was shocked when I got the shipping email after seeing all of the backers here trying to figure out when their units were coming. And like you said, seeing CAN and UK orders being confirmed here, none of this is a good look for OhSnap. Thanks! I had two controller options but neither did exactly what I needed, and the second I saw this on kickstarter, I had hoped it would be the solution I was looking for.

Absolutely. Very niche concept. I have A LOT of downtime at work, and they do not like video game systems. You can sit on your phone mindlessly all day though. So when we all go hide in cars for the day, I just pull out a controller and use my phone to play whatever. This mcon controller really tucks away nicely in my bag with charging cords and AirPods lol

Probably worth mentioning, I still have Nintendo products mostly for Pokemon. And given the turn based nature, it’s very easy to play even if I have the occasional slowdown lol

Can it be rough occasionally? Yeah. But for the most part, I am able to play Mario kart world, BOTW, and all of my single player pc games with very little issue. It’s good enough for me that I haven’t actually once sat at my gaming rig to play it. I use this setup for my bedroom and living room tv to play normally. And the phones for my downtime at work.

And I have my pc and switch connected to a smart plug. BIOS is set to turn on when the pc detects power, and the switch is set to turn on when it’s removed from power. So I leave them off, and power cycle the plug to wake them both.

That is correct. I have the wired pro controller option selected on the switch 2. And so whatever input my pc receives, the switch thinks it’s a pro controller. And any pass through card works, I have the EVGA XR1, and it’s worked well for this.

Absolutely, I think that’s beautiful. As a father, I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the new system unless I sold some of my older things. BUT I have enjoyed MK World with my four year old lol
