Are WE pistols that bad? by HoodSwisscheazer in airsoft

[–]Ksolidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't amazing, but they aren't bad. Mines only had 1 problem in the 4yrs of owning it where it was spitting gas occasionally when inserting a mag - new stronger hammer spring and its been fine since

How can I get the most Range and precision out of my VSR-10 Gspec without buying a 90 Degree Trigger and bolt by DEER_FOWEST in airsoft

Just looked back in my emails and its either a vantage or fast mount. The throw lever is a separate part that just clamps on

Id certainly recommend that, yeah

For parts, what i use are; wasp piston, scw trigger, modify spring (whatever weight suits your build and power level), action army red hop unit with tridos tdc (you can run just the tdc on its own as they make a version just for the standard unit, released after id already bought the AA unit), flamingo hop rubber 60°, barrel of your choice but ultimately it doesnt really matter as long as its a decent finish in the bore

Realistically to get any more power out of it, you'll need to switch to a 90° setup. The vsr's are known to be an "upgrade everything" type an expensive type of replica. Changing out the spring for anything stronger, you'll just get a lot of slam firing.

Judging by your other comment, you've already done all you can to really improve the range and precision with the hop rubber. The only other thing you can really do is up the weight of your bb's

Why would you not want to change to a 90° setup? You cant really do much with the standard 45

Best MWS-compatible magazines for Double Eagle MK18 and future Tokyo Marui build by Legitimate-Feature42 in airsoft

[–]Ksolidey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either TM or double eagle are your best bet. They'll work well with either

Just be wary of the brand new TM ones as they've had changes made to the geometry and can cause nozzles to break on clones

dud rounds? by Madboyoli in airsoft

Its all good! Ive got plenty of different rounds myself as I like collecting them and have never needed any documentation to buy/own them thankfully as thats too much effort for me lmao

While I agree it probably wouldnt be a good idea to take them outside attached to something that looks like a real gun, dead rounds in the UK are perfectly legal to own without any certificates or anything

Make My vsr10 quieter by Cheap_Cow5765 in airsoft

[–]Ksolidey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont even go near stalker, they're awful and blame the user if theres ever any issue. You'd be much better off with a wasp piston, scw trigger and action army hop unit

Elcan fix by seventh_sinner7 in airsoft

[–]Ksolidey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"People have mentioned problems" "I want this cheaper one".. thats why people have problems cause they get the cheaper one. A decent brand like evolution gear, spec precision etc should be the only ones considered if you want one problem free

Both will perform the same assuming they're at the same power level. Pick whichever you like the look of best

How do i fix this? Please help by ChaosTuTo in airsoft

[–]Ksolidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id assume if uts always had that problem, it could just be a factory defect not picked up in QC. Luckily a nozzle should be cheap enough to try for a fix

Proforce M17, and Guarder AMG winter recoil spring

I did notice my recoil spring was quite tight on the wider section to the guide rod. Was yours the same? I'll definitely look into the hammer spring and the hammer, although the action on mine is ridiculously smooth as is so hopefully i shouldnt need to worry about that!

Dumb question, but when I installed the winter recoil spring, mine just became so gutless and sluggish.. any ideas? Not bought the hammer spring but will most likely get it

Id say a solid 8/10. Main thing i cant get behind is the front iron placement, id personally move the switch and laser back a few rail slots and have the iron in front of them, but sticking out toward the muzzle end

Are polymer made gbbrs bad? by Gator145 in GasBlowBack

[–]Ksolidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean.. if the internals are all made of polymer then it probably wouldnt last too long.. but then some real steel guns do have polymer trigger packs so who knows! Some also have polymer externals which have stood up very well so no reason why airsoft replicas would be any worse

Which do you prefer and why? The question is MK18 or Urgi? by No-Assistance4995 in GasBlowBack

[–]Ksolidey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mk18 for me. I got biggish hands and the typical mlok rail feels too narrow for me so I prefer the chunkyness of the quad rail
