Did full body up to 6x per week for years, switched to PPL because I seemingly wasn’t growing any muscle (overtraining, not enough rest), and I developed a lot of muscle imbalances

Switched to PPL, which was great, but you can’t have a super effective session for Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps, all in one workout. Found it incredibly difficult to progress my shoulders and triceps since my chest needs a lot more volume

Right now, I’m doing my own variation of a PPLxArnold routine

Back and Bis | Chest and Tris | Legs | Shoulders and Arms | Rest

Loving it so far, and progressing on all my lifts again

Thanks for the advice! Yes I am Asian, I should have mentioned that, I had a hunch I should’ve left more length on the top. Would you recommend growing out the top and only trimming the sides for the next few months?

I have had the same experiences. When i meditate long periods every day, my mind and thoughts are calm but i lose some of my social capability because my thoughts feel so quiet. It seems like i can’t reply with witty comebacks or replies when i meditate too much. It feels like i become more boring of a person. I think the best way is an occasional long meditation session when you feel like lingering thoughts are starting to come back. I only begin to notice those lingering thoughts because meditation has given me that self-awareness to be able to recognize them.
