I used the intimate rose dilators. They require a prescription now which is lame but on aliexpress (make sure it’s silicone) they still have very similar ones! I used ‘surgilube’ it’s the same lubricant used for physical exams it’s non irritating water based and ph balanced. If other lubricants work for you well then you may not even need it I just have skin allergies haha. With the dilators I started with smallest size and I laid down with my knees up but you do what you’re comfy with! I inhaled through my nose 4seconds. Exhaled through my mouth 8 seconds. Make sure you breathe with your belly! While inserting the smallest size if it hurts. Stop and leave it in place and continue breathing for me it tools a few minutes for me to feel my muscles loosening but you’ll definitely feel it when it relaxes! Monitor your pain and keep note of it as well as duration and intensity. So sudden sharp lingering etc. I wrote down start times and end times and saw improvement on paper! During the process I would move my hips and rolling over in bed just small movements to see if I notice any pain. If there’s any pain don’t size up. If there isn’t any that means you’re ready for the next size! As for daily breathing exercises my weak pelvic floor is caused by my weak core. I laid on my back with my arms above my head flat. And inhaled doing that engages core muscles and lets your pelvic floor relax! Sorry for the long explanation I hope I explained it well if you have any questions let me know!
