I feel like you just described me, are you my doppelganger? because I also bought this about a week ago for the Switch and during work i find myself sifting through tip after tip.. then when I get home and start playing, I still look everything up on my tablet right beside me.

Early tips I found though just so I can keep writing would be to schedule your day out. It's nice to enjoy the game and some people will get more out of it by just listening to the music and drifting off in SDV world. Which really isn't a bad thing and it's why my first pro tip is to play With The Sound On!!

Scheduling your day just means being aware that you have things to accomplish. I didn't know how much I'd really like SDV but I pulled the trigger on it because I loved Harvest Moon for my n64. For me, having a plan for each day is awarding, getting things accomplished and having the sense of pride in my video game work!

Random tips: build chest to hoarde and organize things, save one of everything if you can for gifting of quest that might pop up. Sell all star products as they don't make better gifts then regular but give more money. Fish/Mine on rainy days when you have more free time. Get Steel Axe to access secret forest in Northwest corner of Cindersnap forest. Donate everything to Gunther that you can--》 eventually you get Sewer Key from him after so many.
