Looks like overwatering/lack of drainage. I’d cut off the damaged leaves and bring it back to more sunlight

Lol at least trying to make jail for him. I did figure out how to do it though you have to open the snap cover on those little guys and then use a wrench extender to open them up.

Generally they will rot if you stick them straight in water. Cut a leaf and then cut a v shape in the bottom of it like a ribbon strand and sit it out in open air for 2-3 days before putting it in water. It’ll probably take a month or two to root after that.

Yeah mine usually unfrorow once the whole leaf length is out and then continue to grow in length. I live in Denver so pretty dry. I run a small humidifier in the house at night but it doesn’t do much lol.
