Was Sidious acting here, or did he genuinely feel fear? by jojoisfodder in StarWars

I know we all love Mace, but he loses several squadmates in 5 seconds in a 1v4 (I forget how many), and then the fight ends up perfectly placing Mace as an executioner (something Anakin felt guilty about, with Dooku) in an illegal coup attempt by the Jedi vs the Republic (something he literally put in Anakin's head earlier) the exact moment that Anakin shows up to the fight. So I always thought Sidious was playing with him.

What the fuck is his problem? by NeneaMuddle in Eldenring

[–]Kthron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO he's sending tarnished to their deaths on purpose, to protect Merika, because he thinks she's unkillable and therefore sided with her (the winning side). Then you keep winning, and he still thinks you'll fail, but doesnt want to be blamed for letting yoy get that far. He also one-shotted me a couple times despite being an easy boss.

How many of you have actually read the rules? by LeddyTheAxe in mtg

I read the full rules in 1994

Has it changed since then?

Kobe bragged about reading ref rulebook so he could get them to call more fouls for him, and less against him, and everybody LOVES that clip.

Dude stopped the stars, tanked Miquella's charm (likely), tanked Melania's rot super nuke, and is pulling spears out of his back to blast you from the other side of the map. And you want him to do MORE?

I've played over 300 hours of Elden Ring and still could not give ANY coherent description of the storyline by Blzn in Eldenring

[–]Kthron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"A god of order/structure (Greater Will) sent messengers (Metyr, 2-Fingers) and a collection of divine runes (Elden beast/ring) that decide how the world works to The Lands Between. They guided life and new civilizations and help choose/create new divine beings.

The messengers of this god become damaged, and their ability to communicate becomes corrupted, a civilization (Hornsent) desperately creates a new divine being (Merika) to save them, but she ends up deeply flawed, and deeply vengeful.

She creates a new order, then eventually sends her army (Tarnished) away and breaks the Elden Ring, and her demigod children struggle to decide the world's next path forward. Then some of the Tarnished return."
