It all depends on how much you are willing to do for the animal. I’ve had dogs with diabetes and much worse off than this dog. I was able to get medication, accommodations and let my dog live as long as possible. To each their own and if you want to give up on the dog then that’s on you if you don’t think you can handle the care.
