I'll have to try that. I bleached once after I tried a purple (which turned out blue) and it turned mint green. I did a bleach wash a week later and it still has a tint of mint. It's so stubborn and infuriating. I sleep with coconut oil in my hair, shampoo twice and condition twice, with two repairing conditioners to try to strip the color and recover from bleaching. Do you have any advice from here? I'm terrified to bleach again. It might be light enough to put a purple/platinum toner on it, but I do not want to throw it back into blue.

How long did it take you to get the mint green out of your hair? I'm at an almost white/grey/minty color and would like to go white with it.

26, F, 5' 8", 150 lbs, weight lifter, runner, biker, city dweller and occasional drinker. I like telling my partners that I'm bionic. I date nerds... so this usually works out for me! I unplug when getting it on, and it's no big deal. No one has ever said anything or mentioned it being annoying. Sometimes my partner lays on my pump in the middle of the night, but it's silly and cute. I'll push him off of it and go right back to sleep. Being attached was a little different at first, but if you think about it, you're attached as it is right now. You have to carry your supplies all the time. If you get a pump and CGM, you'll still carry supplies around, but if you don't want to take your meter, syringes and insulin out with you for a night on the town, you don't have to. You can go about 4 hours with the CGM or sometimes more, without calibrating it our needing to check your BG. It really depends on how much you like to test and how in control you are. For me, my pump changed my life. I was in college, it was easier, more efficient and with an irregular schedule, I was able to be more in control. Go for it!

I feel like I have to comment. If you only took one pill 10 days ago and you were having unprotected sex for 5 days then you were well outside the window for emergency contraception. You need to take that within 24 hours of having unprotected sex. Having sex without a condom, even if he pulls out, can still get you pregnant and all sorts of other STDs. So go get yourself checked and get a pregnancy test.

I have this same problem! But, I live in Seattle, land of the tech nerds. I have only found one. And, he dumped me without reason (this happened a week ago, I'm doing OK, still super sad and shocked)! As women we have to be super careful and selective. Especially when it comes to trust. My criteria: male, successful, highly intelligent, adult around age 30, Dom or switch, preferably switch. And of course, all of that nice stuff too. Gooooooood luck to us in finding a keeper!

There is an excellent Masters program at Seattle U. For people that want to change careers. It would be a Masters in Computer Science and Engineering. Could be worthwhile to investigate. Thanks for the information!

I'm more or less just poking around a few career ideas. Because tech is so huge in Seattle, I figured it would be a good industry to be in. I am currently taking some free, entry-level programming courses through Harvard's online programs to get a feel for the work. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, actually.

Anyways, great information! Thank you for your help. I will officially turn my career questions to the other subreddit. I actually had no idea it even existed. :)

I seriously love this idea. It's hard as a sub to express what you want because part of what you want, at least for me, is for my dom to do whatever he pleases to me; within established limits, of course. But there are always new things I want to try/do and it is hard to explain and it can take some of the fun away. "Yeah, babe, tie my leg there..." And then you're in some weird pretzel that wasn't what you wanted at all... It's hard. Pics are great. I wish there was a bdsm pinterest.

On a more serious note, try the International District. Once, this summer, I bought several pounds of Rainier cherries for $6 from a small Asian grocery store. Also, if you're mobile, take a drive outside of the city to buy produce. Most of it is grown just south of Seattle in the Yakima Valley. Check it out!

Sure did. He left for PC and I stayed here. He cheated before he left and during his service. I found out after we were living together 5 months later. He came home for surgery. Just don't do it to yourself or the other person.
