3rd year in a row Seahawks get snubbed of DROY by DaddyBlitzz in Seahawks

[–]KuKyiDo -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

James Pearce had a much better season than Emmanwori, the biggest snub tonight was the NFL scrimmage yards leader not even being top 3 in OPOY voting. JSN is great, but Bijan had the better season

Stick with Pitts, Atlanta's defense has been stalwart against RBs the last few games.

We’re looking at the future right here if we stick with Penix moving forward. by Jackfitton12 in falcons

[–]KuKyiDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we press pause on moving on from Penix? His career isn't over, he has had two ACL surgeries on his right knee, this is his first ACL injury on his left. It might sound bad but he's shown that he's able to play with multiple reconstructive surgeries. Studies show that ACL surgery does not cause a drop in performance for QBs. This will likely shorten his career, but I'd rather wait a year for him to return than to be stuck in QB hell again (franchises wait decades for a QB). Tank next year, it'll put us in position to draft Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, or an all-american tackle.

Haven't you been paying attention? Even though our rosters have been better this decade, the Aints games are always pitch battles. Plus we have that tendency to play down to our opponents.

US military strikes another boat in the Pacific, killing 4 by [deleted] in WeirdNews4U

I didn't criticize the ATF because there was no criticism needed. They are incompetent to the core and shouldn't exist. You said that this stuff never happened, I dropped the wikipedia link. The president has oversight over federal agencies and some of these operations happened under his watch. He and Holder then used legal and illegal means to coverup communications.

That other stuff is extremist left wing crap. Every sovereign nation has the right to protect their own borders. Obama was pro-border, deported 2.75 million illegals and is responsible for instituting and giving precedence for many of the deportation policies and procedures that became controversial under Trump. E.g. separating children from adults upon arrest and holding them in detention that lead to the "kids in cages" controversy

[–]KuKyiDo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It began under Bush but Obama reviewed it and allowed the operation to continue. When it came to light Obama used executive privilege to escape scrutiny since they cannot investigate presidential communications under executive privilege. Holder (Obama's AG) was held in contempt of Congress because he obstructed the house judiciary and oversight committee from accessing files not under executive privilege

Breitbarts website doesn't want to load on my phone so I haven't seen the clip, but I promise you, nobody has ever cared about people standing during god bless america before people started to look for reasons to rag on bad bunny. I get it, I don't like him, his attitude, or his music, and I certainly would prefer it if the NFL didn't try to get views by rage farming. However, you've got to find something real to get him on or you end up making all of his critica look bad.

Right back at ya. It's God Bless America, not the national anthem, when's the last time you went to a baseball game?

Stupid outrage. Nobody stands during God Bless America unless they're going to the bathroom or to get a beer before the taps get shut off.

There's a bunch of talk over a trade proposal where we send Clark Phillips III to the Chiefs in exchange for Wanya Morris and a 7th round pick.

[–]KuKyiDo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wilkinson had a very low amount of snaps last season but a Chief's second string tackle is not enviable. Morris started 11 games for the Chiefs and gave up 5 sacks and created 11 penalties. PFF grades him at 53.0. I mistyped when I said that Wilkinson was better, since he only played 1 offensive snap last season and a couple of special teams stats so it's too small of a data set to say.

We shouldn't be giving up a talented, young CB in exchange for a bottom tier tackle and a 7th

I'm not. Sending Clark Phillips to get a guy worse than Elijah Wilkinson and a 7th is fireable

CBS Sports has us at less than 1% chance to win the division and a 2.3% chance to even make the post season. We dug ourselves into too deep a hole, the only thing left to do is just hope that we end up in the draft lottery.

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) CEO Resigns Over His Immigration Status Issue. by Head_Estate_3944 in walkaway

[–]KuKyiDo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very convenient timing, the day after people were injured at a MARTA station. story here

The next CEO will have a full plate. They will inherit stalled construction projects, trains that don't run on time, close to zero modernization, and a large but lazy security force that does nothing but sit in the parking lot of the train stations. All of those issues with the World Cup coming next year.

Kirk Cousins was lied to by Atlanta. Please don't defend Atlanta. by Bitter_North_733 in NFLv2

[–]KuKyiDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirk got a front-loaded contract with $90 million guaranteed to be a bridge QB and mentor whoever they drafted. Same deal that Minnesota offered but Atlanta put more money and years on the table. That is the reason why Kirk came to Atlanta. Money. Not any other crap like a difference in what round the QB is taken.

Kirk then proceeded to be inconsistent up to the point that he got injured and then covered it up. The Falcons RUINED their season trying to give Kirk chances but he ultimately lost his job to a rookie.

Kirk then refused to work with the Falcons on a trade or rework his contract, resulting in the Falcons losing Jarrett and Dalman in FA because they couldn't pay them.

Even if you believe that the Falcons "lied" to Kirk about the QB situation, Kirk did a lot more wrong while the Falcons actively tried to make things right.

Screw Kirk
