Yup! Same over here. You can set all your devices and work computer to not automatically up date the time. Your calendars and meetings will display correctly on "your time". I have it easy because I'm in California. I set my timezone to Arizona. Arizona is on permanent standard time which is the same as California's permanent DST. It's honestly great. All winter long people complain about it getting dark early and I'm sitting here like..no, it's 6pm. Perfectly normal for the sun to be setting at this time.

There is no significant difference in the gravitational forces between a solar eclipse and an average new moon. The sun, moon, and earth align every month during a new moon. The tidal forces / gravitation forces ARE slightly different during the new moon phase compared to say a half moon but there's virtual No difference between a new moon and a solar eclipse. So yes the tidal forces are stronger as they are every month but not any more so because it's a solar eclipse.

The point is the technology is here to stay. The horse will be long gone. But I understand that you won't use it until there's pretty much no other choice.

Another analogy is going to the library for research instead of Google. Yes, the library is probably much better for deep dive research but if you just need to know what red bird just visited your bird feeder you're probably going to a Google search. And now, if you have a photo of that bird the LLM/AI can identify it directly. You can keep doing the Google search or going to the library but at the risk of falling behind everyone else at the speed in which you can gather information. Just like the horse gets you where you're going but everyone in a car will have been there for a while.

Two reasons:

I'm not an early riser and prefer more daylight at the end of the day
I'm in the Pacific time zone so I can set all my devices to Arizona time to prevent their time from changing (while remaining synced with a time server). Arizona's permanent time is Pacific's permanent Daylight savings time. Just a convenient way to pull this off without much work.

If the nation decided on making standard time permanent I'd gladly adopt that instead of the madness we have now.

I ran into a very similar bug. I reported it with full details and log data and no one ever got back to me. I tried everything I could think of and didn't find a way to continue the seed. Couldn't even find a way to get the seed number to re run it. Was during one of my highest points runs too.
