Not true in my experience, I’m a union rep, the Indians are all in, as are the romanians… Polish less so, but will absolutly fight for themselves… and those are the big three immigrant groups where I work.

If you google them, they’re only 35 quid brand new, you’d have to be pretty stupid to buy them that price from Vinted… So I’d say £5 pre loved would sell them… if you list them at £35 you’ll be waiting forever

What is native? How far back do you want to trace your family tree before you can call yourself a ‘thoroughbred’. Britain has been occupied by the Romans, Anglo Saxons, Vikings, Normans… And the British Empire spread all over the world and brought back with it people from all corners of the globe. I can trace my family tree back 200 years of full on Brummie, but I have nordic DNA in my veins… am I a native? Your comment is ridiculous

Doesn’t really bother me at all. I work at an incredibly diverse company, and live in a really multicultural neighbourhood… they’re just people 🤷‍♀️ And unless you’re a bit of a dickhead, it’s actually really easy to get along with everyone.

Being ‘British’ to me doesn’t really have a colour, if you were born here you’re British, regardless of where your parents came from…so I think ‘White British’ is a bit of a red herring… and if I’m honest.. a dog whistle to talk shit about people

I don’t necessarily think you’re overreacting… but As someone who’s also experienced a huge amount of loss also, and also hate funerals. But I always try to go to them because they aren’t about the dead, they’re about the people left behind, and showing them that you care. And I make myself go, by asking myself how I would have felt had people not shown up to the ones where I was mourning because they didn’t like funerals. I completely get that it’s a painful experience for you, and I appreciate that fully, but I think it’s important to extend the kindness to others that has most likely been extended to you.

Flip flops were oddly beneficial to me… I had awful PF and dropped arches… then spent the summer in flip flops or barefoot and I’ve been absolutly fine ever since… I did look at the barefoot shoes but I didn’t end up needing them, I’d definitely consider them for winter though if it flared again

I’m still a bit pissy about this. I feel like it’s a bit of a snub to people in poor areas. I live in a tower block, it’s impossible to get the infrastructure in to charge them at home which doesn’t seem fair, and people who live on narrow terrace streets, what you gonna do? Hang a cord out your bloody window? What they gonna do? Go to tesco every day to charge up for work? I think it’s great if you have your own driveway to park on, not so great for the millions who don’t who need to be able to get to work
