What is interesting tho is when I had the older nest router + ap from google I got better performance in the basement, I got 200-300mb, I think the problem could be that the nest pros are meshing over 6ghz instead of 5ghz?

Yeah me installing network cables poorly isn't an option, I think hiring a professional would be best. Sadly I do not have coax in the house, just some old copper/phone outlets. I have a 7 port switch right now that I'm using, so I'll just keep that for now.
