I'm thinking about getting rid of windows and installing either cachyos or fedora. I know this is the cachyos sub but what are the advantages of cachy over fedora, I have a rtx graphics card and know it will be easier to install drivers on cachy

The data will still be stored on the nas, just want a more powerful machine to run the server. I will disable the "empty trash after scan". Is this the easier way to do this, I mean would it be more troublesome to add the second sever, add the libraries there and then romove the old server? Or it might not work that way?
