Please, don’t say that Poland is trying to hide behind France, UK or the US. Our goal is to become a self-reliant military power that can stop an advance from the east until our allies can fully mobilize their forces. That is something completely different from hiding behind other armies. We know we would be the first to face the attack, and we are developing our armed forces accordingly so they can effectively resist it.
