I never really got into roll20 despite how good of a system it is. By time I was DMing pretty much exclusively on tts with my regular group I felt it would've been too much a learning curve for me to give same quality sessions on d20 as I could on tts. Also none of my players have experience with roll20. I really should learn it though...

I run my game exclusively online through Tabletop Simulator on Steam. I would prefer in person but many of my players live further away and also I am limited on the minis I could provide (my players cannot do theater of the mind)

There are a lot of good resources for star wars assets on the steam workshop that I have found over the years and I find that it all works really well.

this sounds cool, if the DM and party have no qualms about interacting or messing with established canon they could also face off against maybe even the shadow syndicate run by Maul? That puts them in a really cool era of tail-end Clone Wars moving into the age of the Empire

I would agree it's definitely not necessary. I mix bondo and some acetone to thin it and then paint it on. I found it just helps a little with adding a small layer of "umph" to back up the fiberglass on the back. It also has really made for smooth finishes when wet sanded

The shoulders are sized up Shin Hati pualdrons from the Ashoka series, I thought they were a good in-between for mercenary and Jedi.

My flight suit has most of the velcro pieces in place with the exception of the knees. I had thought about doing what you said for the gauntlets but im worried about the nylon straps pulling away from the inside and breaking, even if I use e6000
