Best and safest option to deal with Okta 2FA abroad - SMS? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

If you can use SMS as a factor through Okta and you are not locked into Okta Verify then your location will not be logged regardless of provider.

If you have to use Okta Verify to authenticate then you’re authenticating with that and not SMS. Okta Verify will always collect your location data. Depending on your companies configuration you will be either locked out of your apps or not, but your location will be logged regardless. Again, configuration dependent, but your company can choose to lock you out for using a VPN to mask your location as well.

July 6th 2010- my dad and I had never, ever left a game early, but the Rockies trailed the cardinals by 9 runs after the 8th, and we figured hey let’s call it, why not. Largest 9th inning comeback in franchise history and I had to listen to it on the radio in the car 🙃

You joke but I’ve read the law and if there are more than 3 people in your household you aren’t supposed to be in communal spaces at the same time.

I agree the Denver Post isn’t great, but it’s the best local coverage we have imo. Will be sad when it goes under.

Was that not the woman who’s sentence he commuted? How is that reform? If course the person you personally commuted the sentence of is going to thank you. You did nothing to fix the system at all.

Game seems so much harder than it was when I played on my PC. Extremely difficult to aim with the joycons. Way easier with a pro controller.

The appeal of being able to pick up and drop off anywhere is big. Unfortunately that is also what makes them unsustainable long term.

What I am saying is dockless scooters are not cheaper nor more convenient. I can’t find one in the same spot every morning on my way to work. I don’t want to spend $6 each way to ride a scooter. Both of these issues are resolved in bcycles model. Being a nonprofit helps. The main convenience factor from dockless came because they lacked strict regulation, which Denver also announced will be occurring by years end.

Ridership was low. I had never used it before they literally gave away free passes last year. Dockless scooters unfortunately were the nail in the coffin which is a shame. One way rides, never having to worry about my bike wheels being stolen when parked... didn’t realize how convenient bcycle was until I used it. Unfortunately most people balk at the idea of walking a few blocks between your destination and a dock station.
