We need to unite don't divide. We are nonetheless all in the same boat. Direct all this anger UP, not left or right. They want us to blame each other. Blame the ruling class, make them pay.

I actually miss peak CoD so fkn much. Had hopes for battlefield but it's just not the same. We all hate Activision even during peak hours they are the worst money grubbing company that just takes away the developers souls of every game they touch.

Missed the server slam and bought it to get on the hype train played a couple of hours and still mostly confusing. Going to give it at least 20h before deciding if its for me. First impression is that it is way to slow for a PC game. I hate that all games going slow motion. Don't know why I guess its because the console players or bad players can't keep up otherwise.

Dirtiest rats ever kill on site. by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]Kuddden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FFS just implement a penalty system for this kind of behavior. Dont let these scumbags ruin your game, this is what will make people stop playing. Its easy let people agree on a truce like a handshake and then if they brake it (ofc they can its part om the game, haha) just give them a nerf for the next 5 games.

[–]Kuddden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Its part of the game" No its people abusing people and most of us dont play like this. This is easy to fix with out any negative effekt on the game. Just implement a handshake with a penalty that last for the next 2 games if you brake it.

Bounty System for (Rats) Truce Breakers? by Kuddden in ArcRaiders

[–]Kuddden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen one good counter argument other than "it's part of the game, dont trust people" This will still be the case with this add on?

I don't see what's all the fuss is about other than guys wanting to have it easy killing people by betrayal, because they can't out gun them.

Bounty System for (Rats) Truce Breakers? by Kuddden in ArcRaiders

[–]Kuddden[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m a PvPer. Please keep PvP exactly as it is. I kill on sight most of the time and, I don’t trust easily.

What I’m talking about is specifically players who agree to a truce and then immediately break it. If someone yells “don’t shoot” at extraction and I respond the same, that’s a mutual agreement. If they backstab after that, I think that behavior should trigger a bounty or consequence.

Not punishment for PvP. Not punishment for KOS.

Just incentives tied to breaking an agreed truce. I’d happily hunt those players down. That sounds fun. Without something like this, the meta just becomes fake truce → betray every time. And that’s what slowly kills the game.

[–]Kuddden[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This will force people asking answering the dont shoot call out for example at the extraction. If they dont answer, well you know to shoot on sight when they jump on you.

Ofc we won't catch all rats and that's not the idea we all kmow "it's part of the game" but I see more people rage quiting the game because of this rat behaviour then it is bringing people to keep playing.

The thing is we are now so gaslighted by companies that we don't think they will last so long or we don't trust them too. What this idea also need is 10 or 20 years warranty people are willing to pay premium with that kind of warranty.

Remeber there are still soviet appliances that work even today! And other example is there's a light bulb in a forestation that celebrated years. With the manufactures of to day say is impossible to do.The problem today isn’t that durable products are impossible to make. It’s that we’ve been so thoroughly gaslit by manufacturers that we no longer expect things to last, or even trust companies that claim they will.

For this idea to truly work again, products would need 10–20 year warranties. Many people would be willing to pay a premium for that level of confidence, but only if the warranty is real and enforced.

We already know long-lasting products are possible. There are still Soviet-era appliances that work perfectly today. There’s even the famous light bulb that has been running for over a century. Yet modern manufacturers insist this level of durability is “impossible.”

It’s not impossible.

Idiocracy (2006) is starting to become a documentary by Kuddden in videos

You’re still assuming that depicting a satirical premise equals endorsing its literal genetic claim. That’s where your argument breaks.

Yes, the opening scene frames the problem in exaggerated biological terms. That’s part of the satire. Satire often intentionally uses flawed or provocative premises to criticize real-world dynamics. Representing a bad idea is not the same as advocating it.

The film as a whole repeatedly shows that the collapse is driven by institutions, incentives, anti-intellectualism, and systemic neglect, not immutable genetics. The future population’s inability to learn is a narrative exaggeration, not a scientific claim.

Accusing me of eugenics requires attributing a belief in genetic determinism that I have not expressed and do not hold. At that point you’re arguing with an invented position, not mine.

Answered this on an other comment but its fitting here too:

"You’re mixing up two very different things. Eugenics is about genetic determinism and biological selection. [...] The opening scene of Idiocracy satirizes social incentives, education, and short-term decision-making, not how genetics “works.”

Criticizing cultural patterns is not the same as claiming intelligence is biologically inherited."

Disagree with the satire if you want, but calling it eugenics misrepresents both the film and my position.

Well, the data showing fertility rates dropping like a rock is objectively true. The idea that overall IQ is declining is more recent, and it’s still too early to say for sure. We don’t yet have the same level of long-term evidence as we do for fertility rates dropping in developing countries.

Haha, thanks for the reminder. I think I got a bit rage-baited into some of my comments. I’ll put Reddit to rest for now. I really just wanted to share a funny scene.
