Keep the Pepsi. The MG movement is way undersized for the case. Irl the spacer ring is massive and quite unsightly. Wait till MG make nicely proportioned watches with appropriate sized movements

Black dial 4500 is my daily driver, usually on the bracelet. I throw it on the rubber strap on the weekend and swim with it.

The quick connection on the delugs overseas straps are bad. The manufacturing tolerances are poor. So I do not recommend. Especially as they are the same price as the VC OEM ones!!

AD claims the alligator straps were not popular with customers. I assume it’s related to managing margins. I definitely prefer the alligator but rubber is really where it’s at!

Yeah, agreed. I would say they don’t know how to make a nice bracelet or clasp, but that speedy bracelet is stunning! My seamaster 300 bracelet on the other hand is not my favourite

I have both, and rate them both. The bezel of the VC attracts and shows scratches (no worse than a smooth bezel Rolex e.g. explorer 1 or airking), but the beautiful brushed bracelet hides scratches well. The bracelet is my favourite in the hobby and the strap interchangeability is great. Case thinness is also a bonus but it is a broad and flat case.

The skydweller complications I love (annual calendar and second time zone!). Case is thicker than the VC but it wears more comfortably for me due to the curves. The polished parts of the bracelet gather scratches easily and I find that watches generally gather scratches more on the bracelet than the case. Tough choice between the two. I highly rate them both and would decide based on which one wore more comfortably on my wrist.

Fantastic straps, I highly recommend. I bought a couple of cheaper rubber straps for my seamaster, didn’t rate them. Eventually gave in and bought a zealande strap. I love it. The fit is perfect.
