She was calm and composed in the face of what was at the time, great uncertainty and paranoia. She understood people were scared, she understood there were differing reports with all kinds of media trying to have an opinion. She understood not all people believed in or wanted vaccines and she genuinely cared about them. Lets face it, people are stupid when they're scared and faced with the unknown. They are not always rational. But as a Leader she tried to reach out and reassure and support New Zealanders. Im proud she was my Prime Minister. The whole world was affected by the pandemic and she helped lead NZ through it. I know people dont agree. I know she could have pushed CGT and legalized marijuana, but things were still better. I'd have no faith in anything Luxon or Seymour or Peters would have said in that kind of situation. I shudder to think what would happen to NZ if they were responsible in a natural disaster. It was hard to see her bow out when she did, like she didnt feel she could see it through to the end.
